We dined here using Dealme vouchers last week. The man looked cranky, noticed that I had a piece of paper in my hand and asked quite abruptly to hand over our voucher which we did. We ordered the chicken and mushroom crepes and the strawberry pancakes, a flat white and some water. The food was quite good, though the chicken and mushroom crepe was a pretty small serving.

The man’s attitude lightened towards the end of our meal which was good, as it almost felt like we were intruding in someone’s house. Décor was interesting with what looked like old European mead/liquor vessels and Hungarian music being played in the background. We were satisfied with our meals, though I don’t think I would pay full price.

You could get better pancakes and savoury crepes from somewhere else for the same price, or even less! Might check out the other pancake store in North Strathfield.

Norton Street is pretty sad these days but I thought I would give this place a try since it's at least a bit different from the run-of-the-mill Italian places that are around. Sadly, I would have probably been better off at one of those.

Firstly we ordered the fried dough with garlic. What I got was reminiscent of a Chinese pancake without the shallots, served with a ramekin full of *Raw* minced garlic. This was pretty nasty, the dough itself was fine but nobody wants to eat raw garlic. Next came chicken and mushroom crepes which, for $16, were tiny, and did not really taste like anything.

The salad was pathetic, two slices of tomato and a piece of lettuce, no dressing at all. My friend had a pork fillet which was not great either, and overpriced for what it was.

Lastly, our dessert crepe was not very tasty either and we found a piece of plastic in it.

Service was typically European, efficient, but not overly rude or friendly, however, the food was the most important bit, so I will not be coming back.

The food was ok but expensive. The vegetarian dishes cost the same as the meat ones. However, service was extremely slow. When we arrived and told them we had made a booking, a man told us that he didn't think so in a pretty rude manner which was bizarre.
