It must have been to a different restaurant than the others, admittedly it was a wednesday night so light traffic but the food was very good, music probably a touch too loud. Some more explanation of the difference in desserts could have helped (not everyone is familiar with east med desserts) but overall I will be going back there and taking friends.

Very disappointing restaurant. Do yourself a favour and don't come here. Don't waste your time or money! The decor was quite nice, however, that was it. We went with some friends on a Friday evening and were given the menus. We were about to order with the waiter when a second waiter came and said that we could only have the set menu today and was very rude in the way he said it. He took the menus from us and as he was walking away said 'so 6 banquets then'.
We were all left stunned. Nowhere was there any signage informating customer that they were only serving a banquet that night. No one was told on making a reservation either. The service here is appalling, they were constantly trying to clear plates that were clearly not finished. We all got the impression that all they wanted was your money and for you out of there asap.
The food was as equally disappointing and a rip off considering the price. It was all mass produced and pre made sitting out the back in the kitchen. Meat was overcooked and the dessert was so small it shouldn't have been called dessert (1 piece turkish delight ~2 x 2 cm and a small baclava. The belly dancer was ok, however, the music was blaring and you could bearly talk to the person next to you.
In the end we paid $90 for 2 people (2 x banquets and corkage) and found it very hard to part with our money given the rude staff and poor, mass produced quality of the food.

We sat down, Friday at 6pm for dinner, we were told to sit at this table, as the others were booked out for the same time. After we sat down, we had 6 (no joke, 6) different waiters ask us for drinks, they all seemed to be getting angrier when we asked if we could have a few minutes to decide. We then ordered drinks and they hurried us for our order, yet again, 3 different waiters came up and asked if we wanted to order mains within 2 minutes of each other. 5 minutes and a few bites into our entrees our main came and packed our 2 person table, with the waiter shoving stuff around the table.
The food, apart from the prawns, was ok, lamb and entrees were decent. Even though the lamb in the entrees is exactly the same mix just put in different pastries. The prawns were crap, all the marinade was on the shell, so as soon as you peeled it off, you were eating a mushy and almost frozen - thawed prawn with no flavour, apart from the lemon. The lamb was quite nice; we tried to take away, but were told 'no doggy bag' in quite an abrupt fashion.
After all this I decided to pay the bill and leave. Tried to get the waiters attention for about 5 minutes, after which I got annoyed so I went inside, where I was asked 5 times by 5 different waiters "what I wanted" - thought it was pretty simple standing next to the cash register with a credit card. After standing there for a while I got told to go to my table and we would bring out the bill.
After 5 minutes of waiting for the bill and trying to get other waiters attention, including the one who told me to go back to the table, I got an overpriced bill of $100 for 2 people, 2 beers and 3 dishes. Not going back.

Friends and I went here for a farewell dinner. At first the manager/owner told us that we had to pay for our dinner guests who did not show up (the booking was tentative!), we stayed and ate our dinner anyway. The table next to us had a guest who was not eating due to recent surgery, the owner told them as well that they still had to pay a full meal for this guest even though he was not eating. That table walked out, we should have done the same. The meals were not great, some people at our table liked the food but I would definitely not go back.
The belly dancers were great to watch, but the service was poor. The night ended when we took our bill to the senior staff and told him we were only paying for the food we ate and were served, he argued this point but couldn't force us to pay for food we weren't served and knew this. He then threatened violence against the friend whose farewell it was, the senior staffs exact words were "lets take it outside!". We were amazed! Never again would I go there or recommend this place. The senior staff needs to be taught some customer service skills.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for dinner on a Tuesday night. At first it seemed pleasant, with the location and decor of the place being attractive.
However, we noticed the prices were quite substantially higher than other Lebanese restaurants we frequent in Sydney. Also, we ordered the banquet and kindly asked the waiter if we could swap one of the dishes for another (equal value) however he asked the boss and the boss declined to fulfil our request.
The food was good, but portions were a little on the small side, forcing us to order another bowl of hommous. When the boss came over to clear our table, we asked if we could have a paper bag or box to take our left over skewers home and he rudely said 'we don't do doggie bags'. Fine, however the way it was handled was completely out of line and done in a patronising way.
The 'dessert' part of the banquet was two of the tiniest pieces of Turkish delight I have ever seen and definitely couldn't be classed as dessert! Finally when we went to pay the boss didn't speak to us and seemingly wanted to get us out of there as quick as possible, even though it was rather early on a quiet Tuesday night.
We'll be sticking to the traditional Lebanese restaurants, never again!

Apart from the decor, this place is awful. The owner pretty much kicked us out and told us to wait outside to be service (and this was on one of the coldest nights of winter, without the heaters on!) and to make it worst when we were leaving one of the staff ran out crying (from the owner, one of the other waitress told us). Never going back here!

Went there for the first time tonight and had a great time. The food was flavorsome and the service was very prompt with the food and attending our needs, although it was a sunday night. We will go again on a friday or saturday night to watch the belly dancing and experience the Hubbly Bubbly. Highly recommended!

Excellent food!!!! Fresh and tasty, particularly the starters. The management however was very rude, unwelcoming and very unprofessional, but we tried very hard to not let them ruin our meal.

It was our first time eating lebanese food out in a restaurant and we really enjoyed it. We especially liked all the starters. You must order the hommus dip. It was the best hommus we've ever had! We were quite full after the starters so be conservative when ordering the mains. The starters were much more delightful than the mains anyway.
Very noisy, especially (Friday night), but a good atmosphere with a beautiful belly dancer to top the theme of the night.
