Since I live local I've been to Zenobia in North Strathfield at least a dozen times and I have found that the service and overall experience is better if you are with a large group of people. The set banquet menu of $45 a head is more than enough food for everyone and the waiters are extremely attentive, especially with constant drink orders.

The belly dancers on the weekend are always enjoyed too. It becomes a bit expensive if you go to Zenobia during the week, as a couple and do not order the banquet because each individual menu item is around $15-20 and they do not do mixed platters for dips or entrees like kebbeh/sambousec/falafels. However, I can't fault the food. The dips and entree dishes are great, everything always tastes fresh and the waiters are always happy to bring out more Lebanese bread for dipping.

I have always loved fattoush salad over tabouli but both are good at Zenobia and the final dish of the mixed meat on skewers are always a favourite, chicken shish tawook with garlic sauce is a must.

I went there with my husband for peaceful and lovely meal. We were not sure of the quantities and over ordered.

Entrée of potato and coriander was horrible. The potatoes were fried and kept beforehand and then re fried when we ordered hence they were wrinkly and tasted disgusting. Entrée of bread and dip was the only thing I liked but with the price tag of $15 it is too costly.

Then we ordered lamb skewers and vegetarian lentil and rice dish. Lamb was tough and very unpleasant to eat. I didn't touch the vegetarian dish (cost $26) and asked the waiter if I could take away. He was quite rude and brought the menu out saying I should've read it where it clearly says they do not provide take away containers for health reasons. I told him it was vegetarian food and not meat so shouldn't be any problem but he was persistent. I am not sure if this is a strict policy why didn't he tell me when we ordered.

Since I couldn't take it home I had 1-2 spoons of it. The dish was like can of tomato mixed with some vegetable on rice microwaved. Definitely not worth the price. I felt the staff was on a mission to ruin the night. After spending $80 on worthless crap food I will never go back again and would definitely tell family and friends about it. Very Overpriced and very unfriendly service.

Very poor service, poorly managed restaurant obviously not worried or expecting repeat business. Out with 4 girlfriends to have a nice meal but very disappointed in quality, quantity, and extremely expensive food. Ended up paying $80/head for half portions of very bland food. Do not go to this restaurant for your own sake, seriously worst Lebanese food I have ever tasted. Avoid!

My girlfriend and I dine here last week. I thought the waiters were very friendly and very helpful. Very authentic Lebanese Cuisine. Food was well presented.

We had a family celebration, 17 guests on Saturday night, we are from an arabic background, so we prepare and eat this food in our homes. I was filled with some trepidation after reading some of the poor reviews about the food and service. Thankfully we had a lovely night, the food was very authentic, well presented and plentiful. The service was very good, we were not kept waiting and the courses came in good timing.

The only complaint we had was the music, it was far too loud, especially during the bellydancing. As it was a family celebration we all wanted to talk to one and other and catch up, but it was nearly impossible at times. Anyhow thanks Zenobia for a great night and delicious food.

Service was bad, staff neither friendly nor helpful. The food was not bad, but a bit salty especially the prawns and the salads. The salads were not well-mixed, I could taste lots of salt.

My husband and I went there for the first time last night. We found the decor exquisite and wanted to sit inside to enjoy it whilst waiting for our take away order. After ordering a couple of cappuccinos we were asked where we would like to sit. As the whole place was empty inside, we sat against a wall and as soon as we sat down, the waitress came over and informed us that the section was closed and that we needed to sit outside.

When we asked why, she informed us that they would need to clean the section we were sitting in. She seemed apologetic and so we cancelled our coffee order and walked out and waited for our take away order outside. We picked up the food (not much variety and extremely expensive for a small amount). The kebe nayeh was not fresh, the fatoush was soggy and bland, the chicken sharwarma was tasteless.

Overall, definitely not how mum cooks! Or any other Lebanese mother I know. The senior staff was behind it all giving the waitress the instructions for us to sit outside. When we walked out, he did not even bother to ask us if everything was ok. For your own sakes, save yourself the disappointment and put your money in another restaurant.

Went with a small family group for a Father's Day lunch. Food absolutely delicious, fresh, flavoursome and authentic. Service was particularly attentive and helpful, with belly dancer entertainment thrown in. We shared a banquet, there was so much food we couldn't eat it all and our vegetarian friend was well catered for. Extremely good value, fast pleasant service, a great experience.
