Service can be a bit lacking with long wait times, particularly if the place is busy.

However, it offers above average fairly yummy (sorry for the pun) food and that's what matters.

Twice bitten, forever shy. There will be mysteries in life, and this is one of them. Often packed to the outside pavement, which is normally a promising sign for a cracker of a restaurant, I have been disappointed by the slackness and poor quality of seafood served.

Sometimes I still wonder if I have been had, but will never be game enough to return to risk it again. Ah well, they must have gotten something right, but I suspect it is the use of media advertising with the local Chinese press that presses all the right buttons.

Very authentic and recommended.

The taste of the food stays true to the authentic Cantonese flavour and although they do have their ups and downs during busy nights (such as Chinese New Year etc), their overall standard is quite high.

I have been there numerous times myself (about once a month) and they're certainly one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney.

I recommend having the lobsters. They cook one lobster in 3 different ways (3 dishes): Raw lobster sashimi (these are heavenly), cooked lobster in sauce and then lobster with egg noodles.

Booked a table for 10 people for a chinese new year get together. Restaurant was literally packed however service was quick and food came out reasonably fast. I wasn’t very impressed with the waiters as they clumsily delivered the food onto our table and spilled water all over the place when trying to top up our water. The food was honestly so-so and even taking into consideration that the restaurant is a ‘seafood restaurant’, the vegetable dishes that we ordered were generally better than the seafood ones. Most of the seafood dishes lacked flavour (with the exception of the fish dish) but our vegetable dishes did not have this and were nice and fresh. Value was again so-so. Just your average Chinese restaurant.
