Food is nice and the ingredients fresh. I'm a Coeliac so we come here regularly as they offer a few GF options on the menu (such as the beef or salmon teriyaki)and GF soy sauce for the sushi.
Brown rice is also used for the sushi which is rare to find, but much healthier and nicer.
Restaurant is small and cramped, so definitely not a fine dining experience, but great for a quick bite if you're in the area. Reasonably priced for Japanese food too.

We have eaten here a number of times of the last few months and we also get take away on a regular basis.
This place was great to start off with but, unfortunately, has slipped downhill. The seating is so cramp and when full the noise is too much to talk across the table. But the worst part is the service, I have ordered take-away on the last 3 occasions and each time told it would be ready in 20 minutes, then on arrival you have to wait another 10 minutes, last time all the hot dishes were ready and then they left these on the side to go cold while waiting for the sushi to be prepared.
I endured the high prices for the convenience of the location and the pretty good standard of the food but no more. Samurai and Rozelle Sushi are both better options within 5 minutes.

I thought the food was quite nice and the first waitress was very helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was that I ordered a pumpkin curry, which I assumed was vegetarian as it did not say it had any meat in it in the description. Unfortunately, when I was halfway through it I realised I was actually eating a pork curry, with pumpkin.
The waitress was very apologetic but I think they should make it clearer on the menu that it isn't vegetarian. I felt very sick after that, unfortunately, despite all the other food being very nice. When the tofu teriyaki steak came out I asked the waitress (different to the first one) if it had any meat in it too, and she was like 'well no...it's tofu' as if I was an idiot or something. I probably would go back, but will be more careful when ordering.

Really tasty food - very small resturant, suggest takeway is the best option (which we do regularly on a friday).
Service tried to be helpful - they are always busy.
Lovely food - but pricey compared to local Japanese in Balmain - yet the only place in Drummoyne who does a lovely Japenese.
Go the Bento boxes!

Without a doubt the Best teriyaki chicken sushi rolls in Sydney. I have eaten a lot of sushi and can honestly say prior to eating here, never really liked any of it, but this place restored my faith in great Japanese food. They are friendly, reasonably priced and the food is always super fresh. I often have to travel a fair distance to get my sushi from there, but it's always worth the drive! Highly recommend it.

Wait staff was a bit annoying, she took our order by memory not by pen and paper so when our sushi came it was the wrong one but they changed it with not too much drama. Wasn't told rice didn't come with the dishes and waiter didn't suggest rice either so that was a downer when me and the mrs got a plate of teriyaki dishes with no rice. Food was good, not great but not bad. I would come again maybe once here and there cos it's so close to where I live but wouldn't be a regular.

Went there a couple of weeks ago. We shared an entree of prawns on skewers (yakatori?), kimchi pork (yes - Korean influence), and a sushi/sashimi platter. Probably the best Japanese we've ever had. And we've tried others from all over Sydney. BTW been to Japan as well.
