Yuga Floral Design is a combined floral design school, floral service and cafe. We have created a very welcoming space filled with flowers, local artwork and a Japanese-style garden out the back. Please feel free to walk in and we will assure you a relaxing time.
Our menu is filled with light, healthy meals with a combination of Italian and Japanese influences. We have all-day breakfast, with pancakes, gourmet sandwiches, salads and tempting selection of fresh cakes. Also try our daily specials!! We also cater for special occasions...

Excellent food, pleasant surrounds, and a warm welcome smile. A "family"-run business, doesn't fail to impress. Generous portion sizes. Pancakes to die for!

I have been to Yuga twice - once for breakfast on a voucher and once for lunch without. I had a vegetarian big breakfast and my friend the meat version. Both were excellent and the same was true for the coffee. The service was excellent and above all is the ambience. It is light and has a feeling of quality and comfort. The bonzai trees and artwork were a delightful extra. Without a voucher it was on the high side of prices but still good value for what we had. The lunch was even better. I had the pumpkin ravioli and it was very very good. It is a varied menu for a cafe - equal to any good restaurants.
The wine I had was a Chenin Blanc and was very reasonable. You can also BYO. I have since chosen Yuga for two further luncheon events, one of which is an annual reunion of 8 people. I chose it over a number of restaurants in better locations such as McMahons Point and Balmain - because of the food, the service and the ambience - all the important things in dining out.
ps: parking is not a problem as there is 2 hour free parking within two streets.

Dined here with a LivingSocial voucher for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. The waitress was very kind and allowed a single diner to dine even though the vouchuer was for 2 people (allowed the 2nd meal to be take-away).
The ambience of the cafe was truly lovely, comfortable and quiet, with pleasant artwork in the surrounds. Each table had a small floral arrangement which was lovely. The service by the lone waitress was superb and attentive.
I had the pancakes with a generous serving of maple syrup, which had a lovely presentation and delightful texture. I also had a large mocha, which was in a huge bowl. I also got the corner fritter takeaway, which certainly did not disappoint, fragrant, and delightful. Both breakfast items were highly recommended.
Value-wise, the pancakes would've been $16 and corn fritter $13 if there was no voucher. This may be slightly more than what you'd expect in a cafe in Glebe, but I believe the premium is worth it for the ambience that this cafe brings.
Unlike what a previous reviewer mentioned, the floral shop is across the road, I presume there's been a recent change.
Glebe is known for good cafes, and this is certainly one of them. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this place. They have separated the cafe from the florist shop, so now it is a cafe with a tasteful amount of flowers around the shop, and some nice artworks. It is a really wonderful place for breakfast, very bright in a good way.
I had breakfast here, I ordered a vegetarian big breakfast and my girlfriend had the pancakes with caramelized pear. Both dishes were wonderful! I loved the vegetarian big breakfast because it was a very nice combination of avocado and all the other nice stuff in big breakfasts. A bit pricey, both dishes costing $16.
The coffees were fantastic. We both ordered large as opposed to mugs and they were like soup bowl cups! So I wonder how big a mug would be. This was a worthwhile visit.

I have dined here several times before and yesterday had a birthday lunch here. As always, the service was very attentive and the staff could not do enough for our party of six. It is always a pleasure to be in the front "flower room" of the cafe surrounded by the beautiful blooms. Interesting well priced cafe food, decent coffee, BYO wine and great service. Will be coming back again soon.

Yuga looks really pretty from the outside and the wife says we'll try here!
If flowers are your thing you'll love it here, it is after all a cafe in a flower shop. And that's what it is flower shop.
The food was average to say the least and showed very little effort. The coffee was not to my liking and rather small in size. It was replaced, however, this did nothing to change the blend. The staff tried hard but can not make up for a lack of knowledge and skill. Great place to buy flowers, not so good for food!

Have been to Yuga a few times now and the food has always been of a high standard. I have had some really lovely, fresh sandwiches, a great lentil burger and today I had a really nice potato, bacon and horseradish soup. Delicious, plentiful and cheap. The menu is very creative and everything comes out fresh. My only gripe would be that the service can be a little bit full on in their attempts to be friendly and efficient. It could be just me though, others may simply just find this to be friendly service.

The staff at this cafe are very attentive, to the point where you feel like you have to brace yourself for the oncoming barrage when you walk in. It's ok when you know what you want, but if you walk in and want to have a look at the cakes/ muffins before you decide, the attention can be a bit daunting.
I've bought takeaway coffees from here which are ok. Although I had a muffin today which was terrible. Strawberry and fig, and definitely stale. Some of the fig tasted off, the muffin itself was dense and dry. Muffins should be sold on the day...

This is my favorite breakfast café in Glebe Sydney, they have gluten free bread and meals. I had baked honey figs on toast (amazing) and excellent coffee. The café is based around a flower shop and its’ lovely to sit and eat surround by flowers.
