Have been to this place a few times now and never been disappointed. Everytime the service has been very good with some kind of international waiter being very friendly if not always fully aware of what's going on. The last time I went I ordered something other than pizza but won't do that again. For 20 bucks pizzas are good value and it's a great location so all in all very highly recommended.

I can't believe that I have already been to this cafe at least a dozen times - business lunches, coffee breaks, entertaining overseas guests and several intimate Friday evenings with my wife sharing a gourmet pizza with a glass or red.

Set inside the new library at Circular Quay, the decor is elegant keeping with the old building and just stylish enough not to be kitsch - it is warm and pleasant - the soft jazz CDs balance the mood. We mainly had the gourmet pizzas, antipasto plate and desserts, and always good coffee. And afterwards, wander through the library ground floor for exhibits including the huge model of the central Sydney city beneath the floor covered in glass together with a huge daily selection of newspapers from around the world - sure beats fighting over the herald at some other cafes (lol).

The food, the people, the location, the vibe, (the music) - All Fantastic! If you love pizza, I recommend this place. Also great dishes if you'r not into pizza, and yummy desert (who can forget the deserts!). I recommend Young Alfred to all my friends. If you don't believe me, try it yourself!
