We came here for my friend's birthday. This is such a good location and great ambience, just right at the water but it is not the busy part of Darling Harbour. Great spot! We ordered the fish and chips and it is pretty good! Very good batter for the fish, crisp and very light. We ordered the special of the day which was nice as well. It was a pretty cold day and when the sun disappeared, it was so cold as we are eating at the outdoor area.
There wasn't any free standing heater around. On the day their service was not that great. They did not bring enough cutlery and took a long time for them to bring in additional plates for the kids. We used the entertainment voucher which helped bring down the bill. The wine was not too expensive. Overall it is a great little place and will try it again.

What a find! And a suburb restaurant for families. What I liked was that the kid's menu was divided into age groups, so 0-5 got the choice of sandwiches and the kids up to 12 had things like spaghetti bolognaise. It was one of the best spag bols we've had in a while. And the adults were well looked after too, delicious seared duck breast on risotto and ocean trout on fennel salad.
Prices are so reasonable though, I'm sick of paying over $30 for a main course, these were all $21-26. Service tiny bit confused, but well meaning and friendly. Great view, and a little area in front for older kids to play. Highly recommended.

We came in on Sunday for the Jazz, excellent! Right on the harbour, really good music, food and service perfect. Pretty good value and the service was really quick. We had fish and chips (best chips I have had), snapper with kipflers and broccolini (really fresh), pea and asparagus risotto and a really good caesar. We live in Wollongong but will definitely be back next time we are in Sydney, great cafe indeed!

I went to Yots on the weekend with my family (two adults, two children). The service took forever, and both the tables who arrived after us were served first. We got our coffees an hour after we arrived, and they forgot the biscuit we had ordered for the children to share until we reminded them twice. So they brought two biscuits instead, with the results that the children had a sugar overload that we didn't really want.
It's in a superb spot, but they take advantage of their position by charging a lot and not providing great service, as most of their customers are tourists. Even though it's right by the ferry stop (which I regularly catch) I won't be going back.

What a wonderful little place, secluded and out of the way of all the hussle and bustle of Darling Habour right on the water. My wife and I were recently at Yots as part of a large group for a birthday and what can I say except perfect.
The service was spot on with attention to detail. The food was nothing short of fantastic, my wife had the duck and beetroot salad which was to die for, I had the chicken pie which was very tasty, love the pastry.
On our table were several vegans and people with special dietary needs, the staff were excellent at accommodating our needs. The waitress that served us had an excellent understanding of the menu and was very helpful in suggesting the dishes available on the menu. My vegan friend said the chick pea dish was delightful and such a welcome change from the run of the mill vegetarian dishes offered elsewhere.
We had a wonderful tasting plate for dessert and the coffee was the best. We will be back.

We were here for a Friday lunch. For such a great location and on a beautiful day, it was a pretty disappointing occasion. The service was friendly, but slooow and we were only given part shipment on the drinks and then later didn't receive the sides until well into the mains.
More over, the food was very disappointing. I had the pie, which was made up of flavourless chicken and veges with just a crust on top. My wife, who seems to have a track record on this, was dished up a very smelly fish, not off just over the top. What a pity.

I have been coming here at least once a year for the last 5 years. The fish and chips is consistently good, you can really taste the beer flavour in the beer-battered fish. Last time we tried the seafood chowder which came in a hearty-sized bowl with lots of chunky seafood.
Wonderful view away from the bustle and crowds of Darling Harbour. Very good value if you use your Entertainment Book. They also cater for children with kids meals for about $12 which includes a scoop of ice-cream. My son loved the lime-flavoured milkshake despite our reservations about ordering it. They also provide crayons and colouring-in paper for the little ones.
We always try and make it here for lunch on the weekend if we have planned a visit to Darling Harbour. Will definitely be going back again.

I live in Pyrmont and never knew this cafe existed! 2 of us had the Fish and Chips and yummy Kangaroo Proscuitto Caesar Salad, plus a nice wine from South Australia, well made coffee and a dessert tasting plate to share. We were really very impressed with the service, think it was the maitre d', blonde hair and bubbly. A really unique view, the only thing we had to say against it was it is not open for dinner? Very good and we will definitely be back for breakfast! See you soon.

Great little cafe right on the water of Darling Harbour. The food was very nice, and good value for money. The time it took to receive the food was a tad too long however. Coffee at Yots was to die for.

A wonderful meal at Yots. This place has an amzaing setting and we were looked after by outstanding staff. The fish and chips is superb and the view is to die for. The perfect place for a quick snack or a leisurely afternoon for people of all ages.
