We used Yellow Express recently to move. I ordered a Studio Hop (two-bedroom apartment worth of stuff) at $55 per half hour for 2 men. But we didn't realise that we had so much stuff. We were lucky that they sent a King Kong truck (five-bedroom load) at $66 per half hour and we had 6 men helping with the move. Great value! They did our move in about 3.5 hours and all the removers were helpful. They were happy on site - all very cheerful, were moving our items carefully and paid extra care that they won't scratch our floorboards. I have gone with Yellow Express twice. We were happy with their service and definitely use them again!

Just wanted to thank the guys for the great work they did moving my unit. Lots of stairs and they went at it all day with a grip. Much better than they company that moved me in. When it's time to move again I will definitely use them again. Thanks Yellows.

I had a very negative experience with YellowExpress in Feb 2011. They were 3 hours late. They showed up with one removalist, his wife, and a teenage boy who had no moving experience. The move took longer due to the fact that the teen had to be trained on how to carry the large items (the fridge, couch, and bed took much longer due to this training). I am glad they took their time going down our 52 stairs, but it would have been much quicker with 2 experienced workers.

At the end of the move, I asked the boss for some compensation for the fact that they were 3 hours late and that it took longer due to the inexperience of the teen. I was told "No". It's disappointing that they did not admit that things didn't go as well as they should have. I will not be using this company again.
