Hubby and I went back for the second time and for the second time we were incredibly disappointed in the food here.

The only good thing is the salt and pepper chicken wings, they are lovely.
We had two mains with fried rice. The fried rice was flavourless, it was almost watery and the rice was mushy. Nothing resembled like it had been tossed round in a hot wok.

The singapore noodles were the worst I have ever had in my life. You could see and taste the graininess of the curry powder. And we had the lamb with special sauce that was supposed to be spicy hot. It tasted like mongolian lamb to us and had no 'spice' heat to it at all.

I cannot recommend this restaurant and we will not be returning unless it is for the chicken wings as takeaway. Another truly annoying thing was they had a large plasma tv on the wall and it was on. You watched people sitting at their tables watching the tv and not talking to their companions. Weird.

The rice was Stale and clumped together taste like it was cooked yesterday. The satay beef had no taste and the meat was poor quality had to spit some out. Food was hot though and the service was good but I will never go there again.

Yees Palace is great. I've never dined there because I always get takeaway from it. They are very quick in what they do and only have to wait for about 10 minutes for a rather large order, thats only if I don't call up beforehand so they can have it ready before i walk in the door. Great food!

This restaurant must have changed hands again since the negative reviews below!
We just had a celebration dinner for 9 adults and 4 children, and had the best Chinese food we have had in a long time.

Banquet had so much food that we took home two full containers of leftovers, and when we asked the group about favourites everyone mentioned a different dish. Especially popular was the salt and pepper squid, and the prawns/scallops in garlic butter, large portions, perfectly cooked. Unlike most local Chinese restaurants, there was no excess oil in any of the dishes.

None of the 12 dishes we shared was a problem, the kids voted the fried rice fantastic, and the fried icecream portions were huge, 4 of them were enough to share around the table. Staff were attentive and service was quick. We will certainly be back!

Ordered Takeaway from Yee's last nite! Was my first time eating from here. We ordered spring rolls satay chicken and fried rice. Spring rolls were nice and hot tasted lovely! Satay chicken was a disappointment! Had no flavour very watery! Nothing like the Satay Chicken I love from my local chinese restaurant! Fried rice was very nice! Very generous portion sizes. All in all was ok. Pretty cheap! Would probably try again just wouldn't get the satay chicken.

Went to Yee's Palace last night for a birthday dinner. Was very surprised. The food was delivered quickly and without any fuss and was very good.
The waitstaff ladies were friendly and extremely helpful.
All round , it was a good experience for the 9 adults and 2 children.

Had an impromptu dinner here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night. The restaurant was quite busy, but our entrees and mains were bought out promptly with no issue. The Special Lamb was great as was the Salt and Pepper Chicken (my favourite). There were no complaints from the 8 adults and 8 children in our party. Very enjoyable indeed. Very reasonably priced but probably a bit on the high side for what it is.

We went there one night for dinner, the food was disappointing, the chicken was raw not cooked well. I brought the spring rolls and they were over cooked, waiter was quick to attend to us and pleasant. I found they didn't have a large variety of food, we brought different plates of food but didn't like anything, we left hungry.

A truly aweful experience. Took the family on a Saturday night. Waited 50 minutes for the entrée. Food was cold, staff were hopeless. Has gone down hill since change in ownership.

They have cheap lunch specials at $6.50 but what I had was average. The menu for dinner seems to cost slightly more than other places but the restaurant itself is nicely decorated.
