Terrible service! Had the most terrible service. The waitress came up to me and said 'can you order now?' When I asked for a bowl to share the dish with my friend, she said it would cost me $2 for a bowl. Ridiculous.

Quick service, good tasty fresh food! Not the most romantic of spots, but it is true to Vietnamese food. For a good healthy quick bite you will leave here happy!

Always good food, service and value. We go as a couple or with the 3 kids for lunch. Can't fault it.

This place has amazing Pho. As good as Bankstown and dare I say it, Cabramatta. We ordered Pho + Vegeterian Rice + Chargrilled Pork and all were delicious. Total was under $35 so very well priced too. Will definitely return!

Great even amount of customers this Saturday morning around 11:30, every 2nd table occupied and I got a window seat for a 4 person table even though it was just me, bonus points! The food was slightly more expensive but I did enjoy it a lot. I had a special beef noodle soup which was $11 (about $5 more than at a typical Viet place) and spring rolls which were $8 (tiny but 8 of them, hot and fresh). They left me alone to enjoy my meal, read my book and look out the window, sipping tea. I'll definitely come back again.

Fantastic, authentic vietnamese food served quickly. The traditional noodle soups (Pho & Bun Bo in particular) are worth the trip to Chatswood alone. This place is casual so don't expect restaurant style dining but is certainly one of the best inexpensive options for lunch in Chatswood.

Please people, compare like with like! For a cafeteria style eatery, which, lets fact it, forms part of the option A. Food court vs option B. This place issue we face when hungry at chatswood westfield, this place is a good find! Very quick, efficient service, good filling healthy noodle soups, and better value than the food court! Like it.

Great location and happily eat here again given the ambience is relatively a lot better than the food court! Noticeably a lot cheaper too! Will go again for the pho, as they have seemed to used a thinner pho noodle which is preferable! Vermicelli is a must!

Oh dear! I needed a quick lunch in Chatswood and knew there was "a" Xic Lo in Spring St. I have eaten at Xic Lo in Haymarket for years and have been contented with all aspects for these years, always good.

I googled for the Chatswood address and read the negative reviews. Against my better judgement went to Xic Lo. Service was good but food was bad. Rice paper summer rolls were as tough as! But wait. After eating quite a bit of my chicken Pho I found a caterpillar of about 1 cm long in my soup. I didn't have to pay but it left such a bad taste etc. I know insects can be found on herbs and veg but please Xic Lo, wash these well first!

Went there this week. The service was definitely not the best. Had to grab own high-chair (which had no straps so not child friendly), and when I asked a question about the menu was told all the info was written on the menu (which it wasn't). Definitely felt rushed to order even though it was not busy. Ordered the chicken pho and sugarcane prawn salad, plus rice paper rolls. The rolls were not freshly made as the rice paper was hardish, and the sugarcane prawns were definitely lacking in prawns, seemed to be bulked up with a lot of egg? Reasonably priced compared to some places but not sure if I would go back.
