One of the better bars up the cross, that's for sure. Still, basically mainstream indie with a young only door policy. Expensive on weekends.

I love the teapots at this place. Individualised shots served in a teapot with shot glasses for you and a friend. Certainly worth a stop on your kings cross circuit.

Do not go here. The bouncers are extremely violent. I'm a 24 year old female who went for a drink here in December with two male friends. One of the bouncers started an unprovoked fight with one of my friends. The bouncer enlisted his colleagues and some other men and chased my friend down the street. They were very aggressive towards me and my remaining friend in evicting us, and I was generally disgusted with how unprofessional they all were. I would strongly advise against visiting this bar.

I love World Bar, and I've pretty much been a regular for the past 6 months. Unlike some places in the Cross, it actually gives you room to chillax over some beers or rip it up on one of the dance floors. And it's great to share some teapots with mates.

It does have some cons though: eg the massive line after 10.30 on a Friday/ Saturday night (it disappoints even more when it's raining), some of the door staffs are annoying, and there's no cloakroom.

Still, I highly, highly recommend it. Easily the best place to have a good time in the Cross.

Great place. I love the teapots. Beer is really pricey. There are cheaper bars in the Cross but none with such a nice decorum and clientele. Beautiful women dancing on tables and good drinks, what more could you ask for?

Went for my 18th birthday and had a rockin time! Definitely looking forward to going back. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a fun laid back night out.

Service isn't always great, but this is due to the crowds that flock into there on a Friday or Saturday night. The teapots are awsome, I recommend tropicana. It's a pretty good place for a party, they have rooms upstairs that you can book.
Generally nice staff. I don't usually like many clubs but I really enjoy going to World Bar almost every time I am there. Big thumbs up.

The world bar rocks, live music some nights and banging electro others, pretty eclectic as well with it's funky decor and nooks and crannies. I end up there way too much!

Love the atmosphere, music and crowd. The staff are unbelievably friendly and seem to leave everyone in a good mood. Though drinks are a tad pricey, prices are just about the same everywhere else in the cross. Overall, love it - I'm always guarantee a great time on Tuesday and Saturday nights!

Would have been a better experience if the bar hadn't added lime to the Carlton Draught as the night wore on to discourage punters from buying the cheapest beer in the range. I complained about the lime in the beer to be greeted with surly barstaff insisting there was nothing wrong with it. I had several of my friends taste it and they all agreed it had lime added so what's the deal? This is a disgusting way to make you spend more money on beer that is already overpriced. Instead of going for one of the more expensive beers I just drank water then left. I won't go back.
