I took my friends today for a birthday since we wanted to have Indian food for lunch. We ordered for the Goat curry and few nans. The Goat curry was a Goat bone curry there were no flesh in the curry that was brougt to us. I gave a feedback saying there were only bones in the curry served, she said that goat comes with bones. I think it is a waste to spend 18$ for just bones.

Unfortunately we did not have a chance to sample their new menu. I was so excited about returning after a long absence, drooling over thoughts of masala dosa. We used to frequent the restaurant when my husband and I were working at liverpool hospital. When we arrived my mother in law and I were shown to a table right at the back when the restaurant was practically empty and our request to be moved to a table closer to the windows was received with obvious annoyance. Once seated we had to look for our own menus, and after some confusion on what we wanted (some uncertainty is expected with children surely!) The owner walked off telling us basically not to waste his time. I don't care what the dosa tastes like, the service left a bad taste in my mouth. They have just lost a family of customers.

Me and my fiance frequently came here for dinner, until last night. Whilst my fiance has been complaining of the food for a while I had my first bad experience today. I ordered what I usually ordered and had some left over for todays lunch, as I used the container given to us by them to reheat the food there is nowhere else to explain the 10-15 pieces of black hair I found tangled in a single piece of goat from the goat meat curry. It has turned me off this restaurant for life and it is a disappointment as I enjoy the place. Disgusting.

Must say the dosas are the best in Sydney. The masala dosa was crispy and my partner ordered the thali. Both the dishes was to die for. So reasonably priced. Will surely be back again for more. Since we stay quite close to this place will definitely do a take away again.

Absolutely disappointed! We had been there few times before. Their dosas used to be one of the best in Sydney and we drove all the way from Hornsby just for the dosas.

However, the experience today is anything but exhilarating. The lady serving us didn't seem to be even remotely interested. We ordered for Gobi Machurian and Dosa. Gobi Manchurian had hardly any Gobi in it, what it had, was lots of red colour and batter! Within couple of minutes of serving us the "Batter Manchurian", the lady came out with our dosa even though we had mentioned to her that both are for sharing. And lo and behold, the dosa was stone cold. It was a reheated pulpy dosa. When we complained, she took away the dosa and then we got a freshly prepared one. However, no words of apology!

I don't think we'll feel very encouraged to return and try their below than average food again.

Just felt like having South-Indian and some time back a friend has recommended us this restaurant. We went there on last friday evening and by the look of it I can tell you that this place is really famous for its food. The ambience is not very good but the fragrance of food is lovely inside the restaurant which wakes your hunger UP. The food we had here was the best south indian we have had so far in Australia. We will be back for sure. Thanks a lot guys!

The ice cream faluda is something we crave for. Dosa thali with home style veggie and lemon rice are our favourite.

We arrived at a very empty and quiet restaurant on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch with my mother-in-law.

The North Indian Thali was large with lots of variety with much applause for the Lamb Korma and Lentil Dahl. The owner was very courteous and pleasant and we found the place clean and spacious. Mango and Pistachio Ice cream was also very enjoyable and not too overly sweet.

One negative comment will be the lack of traditional Indian sweet that accompanied the Thali. We found regulars advising us that it was meant to be part of the meal. Overall - it was a good and affordable eat although the spices weren't as fresh as other "up market" eateries.

We have order for the special thali on our pooja day for 6. The food was not worth the price, the dishes were ridiculous, quantity was like a baby food, all the plates did not have same items. I will never recommend anyone of you, you will have a takeaway from there.
