Went there for lunch with a couple of girlfriends and had a 25% off voucher from entertainment book. Food was nice - nothing special, had a mixture of salads and pizza, but then as my friend was finishing her salad she found a piece of metal in the bottom of her bowl. We brought it to the attention of the waiter and after about 10 mins still nothing. So when he came over with the bill we asked him about it - and he said, he thought someone had already 'explained' that it was a rivet from one of their salad serving tongs. No apology and said it so matter of factly as if explaining it made it ok! We're a pretty laid back bunch but thought that was pretty bad so spoke to the manager who also did not apologise and told us that we'd already had 25% off so we wouldn't get the meal taken from the bill -nail in our food or not! Pretty shocking! If we had a sincere apology and the meal taken off the bill then I would not be writing this review! Will not be going back there due to staff attitude! (mainly the manager/owner!).

Enjoyed NYE here with a set menu, 3 courses for $75 which I thought was great value. Everyone at the table seemed happy with their dishes, standouts were the zucchini flower entree and the steak mains. My steak was a little undercooked but it didn't worry me. Desserts were all delicious.

Only complaint was the desserts were practically on the table before we'd finished our mains, but it was NYE. Overall a very nice night, would go back to try their regular, more Italian menu.

My partner and I decided to check this place out for lunch yesterday. We ordered the calzone and fettuccine arrabiata. The arrabiata was terrible! There was no chilli in the sauce, but instead had eggplant in it, was nothing like an arrabiata. It was also tasteless.

I asked if we could add Jalapenoes or chilli to the calzone, which I thought was not too strange a request, but our waiter had to confirm what jalapenoes were before making the request with the kitchen. When it came, there were no jalapenoes or chilli inside it, but instead we were given some dry chilli flakes on the side. For $20 a pizza, I would have expected a lot better! Will not be going back. Ever.

Food: could not fault any dish: Tandoori chicken pizza was awesome with fresh yogurt and Jam in the middle, Napolitana Pasta with fresh tomato sauce, the base of the pizza was proof of the quality of the dough used and it was evenly cooked.

Ambience: across the road from Manly Wharf but on the other side of the Corso makes 1 street light too far for the masses crossing from the wharf, very unfortunate for them.

Service: courteous and professional

Value: not bad at all for the prestige location. Pizzas all for $20. Pasta special $15. Beers under $7.

Don't leave Manly without eating here. Best Tandoori Pizza anywhere. High quality salads and ingredients. If you're looking for a run of the mill meal, this place isn't for you.

Had birthday dinner with the girls here. Nice place and really enjoyed it. Great to share pizza and salads and have a few drinks. Ran across the road to Andersens for icecream afterwards too.

My son disliked the ham on his pizza. My spag bol very average. Ambience just spacious, fine for kids but not much else. Service very average, we weren't offered drinks when we arrived, I wasn't offered pepper or parmesan for my spag bol. Value was very poor, very small portion for my spag bol, in fact I asked whether they gave me a kids' portion, but it was a full price at $14.50. Green salad with a bit of red onion was $14.50 with no option for a smaller one.

Total price for small spag bol, green salad, small kids pizza and two cokes was $42.90! Unimpressed. We actually went to a different pizzeria afterwards for more.

Although I used to be a regular customer at this pizza restaurant, my last meal from here was absolutely disappointing. The chicken fajita was overcooked and had a burnt charred taste to the base. Don't think I'll be back to waste my money.

Went there after the beach, lots of really nice places in manly and much better pizza elsewhere. Place full of noisy badly behaved kids. Didn't mind them pushing past my seat but when the wait staff started pushing me aside to get through I was a little put out. We were also delivered the bill half way through our meal which ended up being the wrong bill with some lady's credit card in it, my name is not Mavis.

I guess if you are a 16 year old girl out in manly for the first time and want to share a cheap pizza or looking to feed your hyperactive smelly children then this is the place for you. However, if you are an adult walk 2 minutes down to Wharf Bar and get one of their pizzas, much better. Pizza was passable. I will never set foot in that place again.
