I've had dinner here now twice in the last couple of weeks. The food is very hit or miss. The curries, stir fries and soups are fantastic, great depth of flavours and great portion sizes. The noodles are a little bit weird, kind of gluggy and overcooked.

The service is minimal, but that's to be expected from a venue of this size. I'm a little surprised that they don't sell bottled water, but they have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices.

Overall, it's a nice little spot to stop off and grab a quick dinner on a busy week night, especially when you're too tired to cook!

Just discovered this great little joint which offers tremendous value considering the area.

We went on a midweek night (even though we had just done a weekly shop) as we just couldn't face cooking and for just over $30 we got two mains and some curry puffs for starters. Meals were very yummy and we sat outside.

Personally, we loved the feeling of being on the street with the metal tables, brings us back to our asian backpacking days-something quite difficult to achieve in upper class Crows Nest!

Will definitely be back. Great, fresh food and fast service. Or you could go to some of the other places on the street and pay double for the same thing. No, I'm not that stupid, either.

This is the epitome of simplicity. As you walk in off the street (no bookings) you’ll see the menu board on one wall showing you all the various dishes and combo choices. Once you’ve made your decision, order and pay at the counter. You’ll be given a number to put on your table, and within 15 minutes or so, your meals will be brought to you.

This place does seem more popular as a takeaway joint, as it offers little in the way of ambience or creature comforts like toilets! You can sit inside or outside. It was a warm night so we chose to sit outside, big mistake. The parrots that congregate in the nearby trees at dusk make such a racket you just can’t hear yourself speak.

The food though is excellent. All our meals were fresh and tasty and served in generous portions. The chicken pad thai was especially good: soft noodles with tender nicely flavoured chicken pieces. The curry puff starters were delicious and got proceedings off to a good start.

And best of all is the price. With our 25% Ent Bk voucher, the bill for three came to under $40 and that included a shared starter, three mains and three drinks.
Being a Sun night we were able to find easy parking in the nearby council car park.
