Despite some of the poor reviews on here, we tried this restaurant and the experience was sadly terrible. We were a party of 6, and had made a reservation, however, when we turned up (5 minutes early) they were trying to seat a group who hadn't booked at our table.

We then had to ask multiple times for most things, including menus which took 15 minutes to arrive. We waited over 90 minutes for main course to arrive, and even then we didn't receive what we asked for, the food was bland and dumplings were devoid of any flavour.

Overall, the food and service was no better taste/quality than a food court Chinese (actually probably worse than some), so given the location of this restaurant suggest you walk inside the Westfield and save yourself some $$$.

Located outside the shopping centre near the water clock, this restaurant always seems empty around lunch time, finally we took the risk to try it and found out that it doesn't have a lunch special menu, prices are per dinner menu which I thought were not Overly expensive.

The Food was not exciting, the San Chai Bow was very salty, the pan fried pork dumpling was a safe dish to order, the 2 mains (Sizzling Beef and Glass Noodle Pork in pot) were blend... we consumed 2 bottles of water, perhaps, due to the high Message used in the food.

Good Ambience, nice tables setting. Service is cold and uninterested, the 2 owners had lunch 2 tables away from us (there was only 1 other patron in the restaurant)... we asked for 2 rice and got charged 3 rice.

Value: mains $15 to $20, portions are reasonable.

We tried this restaurant for the first time today simply because it is Boxing Day and nothing much else was open in Hornsby. Unbelievably good food.

Probably the most tasty Chinese I've ever had. Yep, I know that's a big call! Prawn cutlets were yummo, the satay skewers were really tasty and not just with the usual peanut sauce over them, it was more a spicy paste and absolutely fabulous.

Fried Rice was not your average fare but much more interesting. Sizzling pepper steak was unreal. I eat out a lot and can definitely say that this place woks. (yeah I know cheesy play on words). We will definitely be going back! Really hoping it will be just as wonderful next time around.

Usually me and my family enjoy the food and the service here but today we were really let down by the service we were provided with. The manager is always very friendly but today we were very disappointed with one of the waiters there. We asked for two soy sauce and chili with our meal. First he forgot it so we asked politely again and he comes back with only one. We then ask again for another one and the waiter just stared at us and said no. I felt he was being very unreasonable. He did not provide us a reason as to why but rudely just said no and stared at us. I used to be a waitress when I was younger and I understand sometimes it might be the chefs telling him to only give customers one but he could of at least appologised or given us a reason. Me and my family usually come here because it's local for us. The food is alright but the service usually makes the whole experience better overall. I was very dissappointed today and I really think one person can really let one place down. I don't think I will be revisiting for a while.

We recently went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. The owner was extremely accommodating and the service and food were fantastic. We will definitely be going back! I would recommend this place for parties (banquet meal like us) or a la carte which some of guests wanted to try.

Friendly and accommodating (we walked in ap 10pm when they should have been closed - they happily gave us a talbe). The food was very good, plenty of vegatarian options. Considering the dining room, bar, food and portion size I think the slight more expensive than normal chinese dishes are good value. Totally recommended (bean curd with mushrooms hot pot style, mmm - had for takeout lunch today again!).

A little hidden gem in Hornsby. Wonderful service/waiting staff where they happily explain the menu and offer suggestion. He even suggested that we ordered too much for the 3 of us, although we happily brought home the excess.

Great Peking Duck (2 ways) dish, one of the better ones in the area. Price is a little more than what you would expect in the area for a Chinese rest but the quality and serving size does make up for it. Family thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Quite simply outstanding one of the best Chinese in Sydney, fast service, good food, the place is clean and the price is very reasonable can't fault it and I'm hard to please, wife loves the place.

I've been for lunch and dinner and the food and service is always prompt and friendly. I had one of their special crab noodle dishes and there was so much crab meat in it and the noodle was wonderful! It's so exciting to have such a wonderful peking restaurant in the area.
