Went for a stroll on king street, found an amazing place! The roasted mushroom was to die for and the sauce, my partner had the beef just amazing, about time newtown changed styles.

The Aussie Sangiovese and Cab Sav I bought by the glass was impeccable, and the parfait and tenderloin was flawless. The service was homely and hassle free. Wine list is diverse, but not too long. I was able to walk in without a reservation on Sat night, but I'm sure this won't be the case for too much longer. This place is Newtown at it's best!

Great place with some great tapas. My favourite are the cassava chips with chili jam as well as their marinated olives. The have a vegan menu as well as a gluten free one. I don't actually drink but so far my partner and friends have very much enjoyed their drinks, especially the red wines. The service is incredible and very friendly. We're here almost once a week now! Go and check it out.

Had lunch here today for a group work function and had the lunch special $14-16 which included a glass of wine or soft drink. I had been here before and had enjoyed the well-priced wine and food. The service was efficient and the waiter had the table amounts worked out so everyone knew exactly what they had to pay when the bill came. My colleague had the pannacotta which he said was outstanding. I had the pumpkin salad which was not a huge serve. Unfortunately, I was still hungry afterwards! The steak sandwich and fish and chips and frittata got the tick of approval, but the salad and tapas were servings needed to be more generous. It would be a good idea to include some turkish or french bread with these meals so they are more filling. Otherwise, a positive experience.

What a fantastic place for lovely food and wine to match. Have been twice so far and all the dishes I have had have been excellent and very reasonably priced, as is the wine! The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!

We were attracted to this place for the interesting wine list, and weren't disappointed. Cocktails were very good; wine superb; food interesting and tasty; and service friendly. Vegetarians well catered for. Would only say that some of the dishes were over-salted. We will definitely be back.

Went here on the weekend. The charcuterie plate is delicious and great for a couple of people to share. The pork belly special was also very nice. service is friendly and efficient and the wine list is extensive with different varietals and blends, and varying options on sizes for the budget conscious. Sit down on the higher tables, the low tables are too low and uncomfortable. Great new place in newtown, newtownians should give it a go.

Stunning, food a knock out, wine distinct and unusual. Wine 10 years old should have been decanted but can forgive that when it was so good. Mushroom pasta to die for, sharing dessert plate just right. A gem at an up and coming end of King Street.
