I ate at the willoughby with a group of friends on a 2 for 1 night. We were glad to see the award winning chef back running the show but his meals were very poor. I order a rare steak it come out on the well done side my friends chicken schnitzel it was very hard to cut through we waited a good hour for our meals it was a major let down. We will not be back again.

My partner and I ate at the Willoughby on its apparently popular two for one Thursdays. While it was crowded the atmosphere was great, and despite our hesitations about the crowds, the food service was prompt and delicious. I had a perfectly cooked Scotch Fillet, and one can see why they've been nominated for so many steak awards. I scoffed at my partner's choice of the healthy Barramundi alternative, but was surprised at the quality and presentation of seafood at a seemingly quiet local's pub.

The meal special certainly made the value more apparent, but the menu is great and the pub has a real charm to it. We will definitely be back.

Don't choose the ginger salt and pepper calamari, very fatty and greasy. Burger and steakhouse fries was the better choice. Nice selection of alternative music playing in background. And some unusual beers on tap. BYO newspaper to read while waiting for your meal to arrive.
