Dine like a star in this waterfront restaurant located in Sydney's Overseas Passenger Terminal with spectacular views of the Opera House and harbour. Discover unique flavours of dishes by Executive Chef, Luke Stepsys served with an award winning wine list..or try the signature Brazilian inspired Churrasco of tapas and spit roasted meats & seafood. Yum!
Seafood is purchased fresh daily at the Sydney Fish Markets by a buyer on the market floor, and delivered to Wildfire on the same day. The impressive display of oysters (shucked to order) and crustaceans at the Sea Bar, makes this a popular choice for couples and individuals to dine. Our famous Chilled Seafood Platter $85 consists of King Prawns, Balmain bugs, Yabbies and Blue Swimmer Crab, Sydney Rock Oysters, citrus cured Ocean Trout - cucumber sorbet, Smoked Eel parfait - dashi jelly, tuna tartare - tomato foam and Crayfish salad with green mango and nam jim dressing.

Great food and location with outstanding service but very pricey expect to pay around $150 pp without too many drinks.

We came here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and even though we had booked a table with a view of the Opera House, on arrival noticed some great tables outside with the same view in the sunshine. When we asked for one of these tables the waiter said he would check with the Manager and they obliged and gave us our choice of table which was fantastic.
There was a $35 special for 6 different items on the skewers which everyone seemed to be doing, however, we went for the $59pp deal which would include 3 more main items and an entree platter to share. Personally this was definitely not worth the extra $24pp and next time we will go for the $35 deal! Our waiter was exceptional and extremely accommodating although it was very disappointing that both of the cocktails I ordered were not available and I was told about the 2nd one at least 15 minutes after ordering by which time the food had started to arrive!
Nevertheless the waiter provided a glass of wine complimentary which was Ok, although less than half the value of both cocktails I had ordered. All in all a very pleasant lunch venue and good value for money when you consider the amazing location and quality of food and service.

Absolute disappointment! I have been dining at Wildfire for at least 7 or so years, and we have always had a pleasent experience up until last night.
It was my birthday, so I had a few friends who live interstate join us for dinner, and I had been giving Wildfire rave reviews for the last few weeks. I felt that Wildfire would give my friends a good experience in regards to sydneys dining culture.
We ordered the Churrasco and the meat was overcooked and very dry... to the point where I had to actually spit the pork out because I couldn't swallow it. To top it off our waiter who was carving the meat for us, was basically shredding it, so by the time it had made its way to our plate it wasn't very appealing at all.
After we had tried all that was available from the meat selection, we were asked if we would like another serving, we replied yes, and to put it lightly we are still waiting.
So as ladies do on an evening out on the town, we were re-telling old stories and having a giggle- much to the staffs disgust, that out of the blue we wee swarmed by at least 5 employees (I'm assuming managers, because they were all dressed in black, and were wearing head sets) they removed all our plates without even asking if we had finished our meal. When I asked what was going on I was ignored, and they were all avoiding eye contact with me. Two of the "black suited" clan were hovering around our table and would not leave. It was very obvious that they wanted us out of the restaurant pronto, keep in mind it was barely 10pm and the dining area was still half full.
My friend asked if she may order a short black, and the waiter was horrified. The man whom was working behind the seafood bar, was making hand gestures to another staff member on the otherside of the room, as to say... Shit! they want a coffee, I don't know what to do, get them out of here asap, he couldn't of made it more obvious. Then low and behold, the communication at the coffee machine was not good and they forgot the coffee. Didn't they go into panic mode, because they were wondering what we were doing sitting there! And that was made very obvious when the black suited clan started congregating and circling the table.
The bill was slammed on our table 10 seconds later after the coffee arrived ($447.00 for 5 people without drinks) and we were escorted out of the restaurant.
I am so embarrassed and I feel terrible that we had such a disaster of a dining experience, especially due to the fact that I had friends from interstate join us. Disgusting, barely eatible meal, rude staff, terrible service. Such a shame as Wildfire was my favourite restaurant. I will be forwarding this review to Wildfire Sydney, I don't expect a reply though, as I heard they are not good at giving them!

After reading a mixed bag of reviews, I am surprised about some of the negative comments.
I took some clients here last night and we had possibly the best dining experience I have had in Sydney for some time. We tossed up between having the Churrasco but settled on a la carte. The freshly Shucked orders to start were sublime, followed by some of the best salt and pepper prawns we have tried. My clients all had some perfrectly cooked dry aged steaks and us ladies enjoyed the mulloway and snapper.
Service was attentive and thorough but not over the top. Our Sommelier was informative and chose a great white and red from the massive selection available. One of my clients commented on the overall professionalism that oozed from this establishment.
It has a great vibe, the look and location are second to none and leaves in my opinion many "hatted" restaurants lagging. This is not the first and certainly won't be the last time I will dine here.

Fairly good experience for a busy Friday evening service. Pity our server forgot the Oyster starter as well as one of the side dishes for the main. Here's a tip, never ask for your fish to be de-boned at the table, ended up looking like a dog's dinner with lots of bones remaining. Have to say the steak was brilliant, but with so many great restaurants to choose from in that area it will be sometime before we go back.

It was not the worse meal I have ever had, ok the worse dessert, sticky date the size of a cheap cake shop (large and surgary) selling quantity over quality, similar to the large spongy bread obviously meant to fill you up, if I paid $30 I would have felt ok, high dollar for a below RSL Club meal ($99 a head + overpriced drinks) and like most we did not get "the" view, service always felt like the idea was to get you out ASAP so we can rip another group off - I read similar bad reviews beforehand but we went for our friends, never again and you have been warned.

My wife and I eat out at least once a week, and I can say without hesitation that this restaurant is way overpriced. The drinks are way overpriced as well. The location is great and decor is Ok if you like barn style. I expect a lot more when spending $270 for a couple. The food is below average. The dessert was barley edible. Should have cost more like $50. I cannot believe anyone would come here a second time.

I thought Wildfire was an expensive, mediocre barn. My partner had a steak that was weirdly rubbery and worse than a suburban pub. I had ok oysters and ok fish. The service was not professional enough for a restaurant charging those prices.

Online booking a little strange. They take your booking and then inform you via email that a cruise ship is parked in front of the restaurant. Would have liked to know this beforehand so could have not booked at all.
