Pretty good, at least for the suburbs. Wide range of pizzas, burgers, middle eastern food, etc. Service generally good and delivery efficient. It's not that good though - the burgers just seem a bit tasteless while the pizza menu is almost identical to Crust's but obviously uses greatly inferior ingredients - however, there isn't much choice locally except for many good Asian places.

I and my Husband went to the restaurant yesterday evening on 19th October’ 2011 for Dinner. As hungry and excited we were to have a good tasty food after a tiring day at work, the more disappointed and regretful we were to have food there.

Being Vegetarians, we ordered for a Vegetarian Falafel Burger and a Pesto Pizza. In the Burger they had put frozen patty with rotten vegetables - it was smelling and tasting bad. In the Pizza there was no choice of crust to choose from, they brought a pizza on an uneven crust in a small white plate with very little Pesto. They were so unprofessional and cheap. And when we asked for some chilli flakes and Tomato Ketchup sauce to make the taste somehow bearable to eat, they charged “60 Cents Extra” for each of them. This is really terrible charging extra for chilli flakes and ketchup. Never seen this happening anywhere in Sydney especially at the pizza / burger cafe.

The place shuts at 10, and we were there at 9.05 pm, still the waiters there were desperate to lift the chairs on the table and start their cleaning stuff. How could you do that when a customer is having their food? They wrote it everywhere on their menu that they accept Credit Card/ EFTPOS but with a hidden fee. We understand that many restaurants charge 3% surcharge on Amex and Dinners Club, however to by surprise this restaurant charges 3% surcharge on any credit card and 2.5% on EFTPOS. This basically means that they are pushing everyone to pay cash?

My bill already contains the GST component of 10% so why should I be pushed to pay cash thus saving them the GST component? We discussed the matter with the “Department of Fair Trading” and they share a similar view. This basically means that they are evading from paying the Tax to the government and keeping all the money in their pocket.

If you care about your hard earned money and don't want it to go waste and don't want to throw unpleasant food in your stomach, don't go to this resturant. And if you want to try just to check my terrible experience, you are most welcome. Good Luck and my all sympathy to you.

I visit wild caktus on average 2 - 3 times a week, never once in 4 years of going there have I not been satisfied, the staff are friendly and service is great, restaurant is never messy even on busy nights. Burger I recommend is kaktus BLT have been eating it for 2 years and taste the same every time, very consistent food. Definitely recommend eating there.

The Beiruit Falafal salad is great. The noisy staff in a tiled, echoey cafe is not so great.

We live on the NSW Central Coast and we decided to stop somewhere on the way through from Sydney. My fiance and I both agree that the atmosphere was busy but not intruding, the service was very friendly and accommodating and the servings were delivered surprisingly quick considering we both had chosen from the chargrilled menu and the restaurant was not exactly short of clientele. I would not be adverse to say we were very impressed with our meals, serving size was adequate. temperature was appropriate and the balance and proportions of ingredients were spot on. To say we left feeling nourished and satisfied would be an understatement.

Walked in and as I was ordering the man rudely interrupted me "Name?!", then yelled across the kitchen joking with staff like I wasn't even there, then told me the amount on credit, used my debit card on savings and without telling me he put in a dollar fifty extra, I asked why and he said there was a fee to use it, which was bull, Anyway! I didn't care.

The food is great, worth the wait, I recommend takeaway, don't eat or wait there, you become involved in family feuds, very uncomfortable conversations, a woman yelling @ chefs to hurry up while shopping online, and unexpected cousin customers who will disturb you, as they told me to 'get up' while eating so he could find his keys! they may need etiquette lessons, so people would eat there.

    Response from Management:
Before making these type of comments, please call the banks and check out their exhorbitant fees...you are more than welcome to pay cash!!! The only thing with cash is, that you won't accrue your frequent flyer points or whatever else they give you at banks these days to entice you to use your card!!!

They may look alright compared with the local eateries (I don't know if there's any fine dining in Pennant Hills) but they are still sub standard really.

The Pizzas were not better than Dominos and 3 times more expensive, the burger was ordinary and no better than hungry jacks, the pasta and especially the lasagna were terrible! stick to the fast food when you got there (Pizza/Burger).

Luckily they accept Entertainment Book voucher and I got out only $50 lighter for ordering 1 entree, 1 pizza, 1 pasta, 1 lasagna, 1 burger. The service was good and different from what the previous reviewers mentioned.

    Response from Management:
The thing I find funny is that only the very few negative responsive people come on here to make comments. Where are all our customers that come in once, twice or even three times a week?

The other funny thing I've noticed over the last two years, is that it keeps getting busier!!! This is a comment that I've come to expect only from Entertainment Book users!!!

I think myself as a regular to this place. I absolutely love their food, always try new things and always very impressed. The staff a fairly friendly although come across as a bit rough around the edges or nosey, I genuinely think thats just them trying to be "friendly".

A great dining experience in a suburb that lacks a good eatery. Lady owner is very friendly but tends to get a little personal when talking about her life. Favourite dish would be the 1/4 chicken with rice and the Peri Portuguese pizza. Will definitely go back.
