I can safely say this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I was worried from the start when I saw German decor, and Italian menu and British people running the place. I had carbonara which was very watery and then my dessert of profiteroles was drowning in cottees chocolate sauce and whipped cream out of a can. The profiteroles I have bought pre made from woolworths are 10 times better. My guest specifically asked for no cream on her hot chocolate after the waitress was pushing it, only for it to have lumps of what we hoped was cream floating in it.

Like many others, I've driven past the White Hart many times and thought I'd finally stop in on a Thursday night. As soon as we walked in, I regretted it. The place smells damp and dusty, doesn't look particularly clean and was completely empty aside from the single waitress who was sitting at one of the tables using a laptop.

I paid $50 for a child's meal, my meal, garlic bread and two drinks (had to wipe the glasses down both inside and out, covered in lint), none of the food tasted fresh and after a few mouthfuls of my overcooked veal monte carlo smothered in what tasted like packet cheese sauce, I couldn't eat any more.

I did mention that I wasn't happy with the food to the waitress, but there was no reduction in cost and I was too eager to get out of there (we were still the only people there) to argue. Kind of felt sorry for them too, obviously not doing well. Horrible experience and will not be going back!

Last nights visit to White Hart was the first and quite possibly the last. The only thing which stood out for us was the great service from the waitress which needs to be recognised. We decided on the 3 course meal which I believed to be great value for money (prior to eating).

The meal we had ordered wasn't what I had expected. The chicken bosciola was overcooked and the lasagne tasted like it could have come out of a box from the freezer section of your local supermarket. When eating the meals I couldn't help but notice in the corner of my eye dead flies and dust over the window sill.
White Hart is a local restaurant screaming for a makeover.

We have been going to the White Hart restaurant over the years, but I think it has lost it's edge a bit, one waitress we had was alittle to out there for our liking, making crude comments, food was ok but nothing to rave about, and I wouldn't recommend it, plus the desserts are now half the size they used to be, my creme caramel is not the same as I used to have when I went there before, it was like it came pre packed, I also think the decor could do with a makeover, I like the red and white table cloths but maybe it needs some red and white curtins and some flowers on the tables, to jazz it up.

My wife and I have not eaten at this restaurant for about 20years. It has still the same decor as the last visit a bit dated then and more so now, having said that it was very clean the meal we had was excellent pepper crusted lamb back strap for the main and salt n pepper squid for starters they were as good as any meal I have had anywhere else. The service was pleasant and fast and not over priced 10 out 10. We will be back soon.

This came highly recommended, which may have been its downfall. Yes, it felt and smelt like nonna's house. If it's homely food you want, this is the place to go. But we go out to eat food we don't eat at home.

My experience at the White Hart was very disappointing. We just moved to the area a few years ago and have been wanting to go here ever since, especially having read such fabulous reviews. Overall the meals were very plain and flavourless, tasting more like a meal which had been bought frozen and heated up in the microwave.

The service was quite good, but then again, that was probably because it was just us and another table the entire time. I am left scratching my head as to why this restaurant has such rave reviews. Will not be returning.

After driving past this restaurant for years I finally got to visit, What a complete disappointment!!! The food is of reasonable value and the service isn't too bad, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Both our entrees were cold and my wife's spaghetti seemed to have been cooked for half an hour. In fairness to them, after pointing it out they took the meal off our bill, but our long awaited visit was a letdown. Our first and sadly last visit to the White Hart.

Went to dinner here last Friday night. The garlic prawns entree was divine. I had the Pepper Steak which was a little bit chewy. I think we must have had the last batch of food, cause our chips were soft and looked they were cooked in old oil.
The servings are big and well priced. The staff are laid back, easy going. Its a very comfy, family restaurant.

We always enjoy this restaurant, the servings are huge and there is something for everyone. This is is great Family restaurant. We love the chips and veges too.
