Well connected has a great urban feel to it and is a favourite of mine when all things Glebe are concerned. The service can be described as efficient at best and it hasn't got a spectacular aura about it but rest assured you'll get a decent feed and a quality coffee. Inner city life beckons.
We waited half an hour for service so I went to the counter and I got a "Yeah, we're coming"... not impressed. I ordered an Ice Tea. Not only did they not make it themselves, it was the Lipton brand which they planted on my table and walked away. No glass. They didn't even open the bottle. The place its was pretty dirty, but relaxed.
The food is nice though. I love the garlice and fetta bread, I hope I can find another place that has it so I don't have to come back here.
Great for (usually very late for me) breakfast. Although as mentioned earlier its a shame some items are weekday only. The coffee is good and the food is tasty and well priced. Eating out on the balcony upstairs on a sunny day is a swell start to the day.
I only come here for 1 reason.. Chocolate Lasagna!! With 2 scoops of ice cream please. And a large flat white, get a seat upstairs on a balcony and bring a book.
I am in paradise. Love the decor, the service never disappoint me and the value for money just complete the whole package. I am already a regular there and will always be! PS: and the breakfast menus are great too!
Love Well Connected, have been a few times for dinner and it's great. Portion size is ideal and the flavours are amazing. Value for money is brilliant, for example the last time we ate here there were 6 of us and the bill was under $150! That was for starters, mains and desserts, brilliant.
I love well connected, I come here quite often. The food is excellent, especially the pasta. Big servings, very good. I recommend any of the pastas and also the lamb burger. The coffee is excellent, and value is alright. It's a place full of interesting people, and it's also very comfortable. The service is decent but not the best I've seen.
A bit of a worry when the menu arrives with all manner of food splatters sprayed over it. Disappointing that some menu items are weekday only - not sure why.
This place reminds me of a backpacker hang out complete with the cloying aroma of patchouli wafting over your food.
The grotty feel of the place is not reflected in the meals which were generous and satisfying. Service was efficient. The piles of newspapers lying around would be good if you were waiting for someone and wanted to fill in time.
A big breakfast with coffee and a large juice for $14 now thats great value. The asian lady chef was a machine doing the whole cafe by herself but the waiing staff let her down. I didn't know if it was table service or if I had to go to the counter. The coffee was great and the food was nice. Be back for the big breakfast.
