Poor things. We came here for lunch one day, as always, they were empty but we couldn't go past the crazy $5 flounder special. We also had some pork thing, can't remember, but both were delicious. Room is a bit tatty and dirty looking and really, it doesn't help to have your lights off when everyone else is on!

The service here was excellent, with very attentive staff, giving us soup before and oranges after our meal. However, the meal itself left alot to be desired. I do hope that they get their game on.

We had a pretty awful dinner here. We didn't expect a lot - the other restaurants that we wanted to go to were all chock-a-block - this one was very quiet but we had no choice as we were in a rush. We decided on a very affordable 4 course set menu and there were quite a few dishes to choose from.

We went for the Steak with XO Chilli sauce, Deep Fried Flounder, Peking Spare Ribs and some vegetable mushroom dish. The first dish to come out was the beef with XO Chilli sauce and this was truly awful. The beef had no taste whatsoever - the sauce wasn't spicy nor did it taste like XO although perhaps it was just watered down a lot. None of us could stomach it and it is easily the worst dish I've ever tasted in the last few years. We left most of it just sitting there. The Peking spare ribs was average but tasted sooo much better in comparison, the vegetables a bit overcooked but were ok, and the flounder was reasonably tasty, though small especially compared to other nearby restaurants.

Overall we really didn't enjoy ourselves - mostly because the food was so average and because the steak left such a bad taste in our mouth. It's a pity it came out first and I hope they can lift their standards otherwise they may not be around for long. It looks as though other patrons are already starting to know the one to avoid.
