I went there for the first time in 15 years for a quiet feed and a beer in the lovely leafy beer garden. No such luck, this pub has followed the Golden Barley's 'family friendly' policy of allowing kids inside a previously adult domain. Hence, no peace and quiet, Just loud screaming and kids running amok and totally ruining the ambience. The food was mediocre. My partner and I couldnt wait to get out of there. The staff were nice and friendly but sorry I want to be able to unwind when I go out.

The Warren View is a pretty average pub, I went in there for food once, I wanted the steak but it didn't come with the option of vegetables with the mash potato which I find against the law really. If it gets packed, it's not a good place to be, people constantly knocking into you all the time. I think if the drinks were expensive and not cheap like they are, people would leave in droves.

The beer garden out the back is a winner at this place. We had lunch on a very rainy Sunday and it was nice sitting out the back with it pouring down around us.

Good beer and nice service with the only let down being the food just wasn't that fantastic. There seems to be just too much going on with heaps on the menu and heaps on the specials board. Maybe they need to scale it back a bit and concentrate on quality over quantity as the prices charged do not match the meals provided.

Overall it's definitely worth another visit just to hang in the beer garden with a few cold ones. Debatable on whether ordering food again would be an option.

The specials menu changes regularly and always has something appealing. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Good selection of drinks, also reasonably priced. Friendly relaxed atmosphere, but gets busy and crowded on weekend, but doesn't every good pub in the inner west?

What I love about this place, No screaming children! The beer garden is lovely, and unlike The Golden Barley (just down the road) parents who come here control their kids. Food is ok, nothing special but cheap enough, drinks are not too expensive ($10 jugs great value), but the real attraction is the garden. Breezy, shaded, well-maintained, private enough for a tete a tete but also big tables for groups. Great place to be on a warm afternoon.

Couldn't help but notice the review by so called Food EE, we have been going to the Warren View for years and the pub was sold a year and a half ago. During that time the new family that bought it has done nothing but improve the place. All the old beer garden has been transformed into a great relaxing oasis in the area and the kitchen is sparkling brand new and hygienic with great prices.

All the other pubs in the area are five or six bucks for the same thing. The food is great pub food and don't try to do anything to prententious. It can get very busy when there are shows so you can't expect miracles from the small kitchen and team but we always get a great feed and go at a sensible time when the enmore theatre doesn't have shows on. We come here all the time and recommend it to anyone. The staff there are very friendly to us local crowd. All the best Ditto.

Went there last night before the election and had a great sirloin steak. The beer always tastes fresh and are the best price in the area, great place to come on a sunny day.
