I went there on Saturday night. There was 4 of us. The food I could not fault. The service was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We went here with a Scoopon for lunch last week. It was a beautiful day, but surprisingly the restaurant was not all that busy. We did have a reservation, but we were almost an hour late, yet we managed to get a table on outside patio facing the ocean without having to wait.

The service was great from the time we got there. The head-waiter who served us was friendly and polite. The wine was served almost instantly, and he gave us some time to browse thru the menu and absorb the lovely view from their patio. He also helped us with what to order.

I'm not a connoisseur of tapas, I am particularly not fond of the quantity that is served and the price that is charged under the pretext of the fancy tapas. But I was pleasantly surprised at what was on offer at this place. The Seafood Paella and Prosciutto wrapped scallops were simply divine! The rice had the prefect herbs and aroma, and all seafood was fresh and delectable. The Beef a la Chico was tender and perfectly cooked as were the Arancini Balls. The blend of flavours and colors seemed in perfect harmony. As expected with tapas, the presentation was elegant, but not overboard.

My wife topped it all up with a not-so-Spanish sticky-date pudding, but even that could have scored a perfect 10.

As mentioned earlier, it was a beautiful autumn day, a bit on the chilly side to sit outside, but the heaters made it comfortable. The decor is just, and although they might be trying to give the restaurant a character by keeping those old wooden tables with iron frames, in my opinion the tables can do with some maintenance and I know I'm nitpicking! Actually, you can't go too wrong with ambience at Bondi!

Without a coupon, this place will lean on the expensive side for the pocket, but totally worth it if you have the coupon. For a special occasion, I might go here again!

Went here on the first sunny Sunday in months. The food arrived very quickly and we had a funny and quirky waiter who also suggested a very decent couple of bottles of wine.

We had the prawns, the chicken and mushrooms and the scallops. All were great except the sauce for the scallops was too sour to suit the saltiness of the prosciutto.

The view is outstanding, the tables for two are a tad cluttered and could be spaced a tad further apart. We stayed for several hours and ended up being the last people in the restaurant but the wait staff were happy to have us there and never did we feel rushed. We will return to try the rest of the menu.

Also went with a voucher. Service was great, the food with the voucher was ok, ok as in alright, not bad, but compared to some of the dishes that were coming out, if I'm in the area again, maybe I'll check some of those other dishes out. We stayed for cocktails, I recommend the expresso martini, delicious.

Went there with a coupon, calling bread and oil a tapas is a bit cheeky. Arancini balls and scallops were good. Paella not so great. Service good, location/view/vibe superb.

Went here recently with my girlfriend, great spot for a date. The staff were friendly and available, and the food came out in good time. Honestly some of the best seafood I've ever eaten. Keen to go back.

Had such a good experience here before but last night? Appalling! Whoever the "waiter" was, I think he was the senior staff, had No idea! First time I didn't tip! We also left vowing never to return.

Went here with a daily deal and had a top time. The voucher made the value outstanding, 3 tapas and a bottle of wine for $35. All tapas were very tasty, not usually a fan of paella, but this one was delicious. Ordered a couple of extra plates, which were also very good, and the espresso martinis pack some punch! Staff were very attentive and the space was really nice. Would go back.

3 of us went for dinner and drinks on Saturday night. Thoroughly disappointed after reading the good reviews posted here. Service was inattentive, drink orders were lost, menus were delivered but nobody came to take our order, in the end we had to literally grab one of the waiters by the shirt as all of our signals that we were ready were ignored (the thousand yard stare was prevalent as we were passed by numerous times).

We had to continuously ask for our water to be refilled and when our orders were actually being taken by the waiter a waitress came over and talked over us to ask if a table was free in the corner. A dozen oysters Kilpatrick were definitely not fresh and sent back to the kitchen. The only positive was that they replaced the oysters with scallops with no fuss.

In the end we left feeling ripped off, unhappy and vowing never to return. Oh, and all 3 of us spent the night being sick. Fabulous!
