This was a fantastic new restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing, absolutely faultless. My whole family left full and happy. We tried a large range of the menu as there were a lot of us, and it was all cooked beautifully. This has definitely become a family favorite!

Voro...What a hidden gem. I took my partner for our anniversary dinner last Saturday, and I was so surprised to find this calibre of nourriture in my backyard, here in Gladesville.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The service was impeccable, the ambience was warm and unpretentious and the food was very sensual.

I suggest you take your beloved for the Voro, a seafood pasta or the Wild Barramundi dish. They are sensual, and very well sized. This is a great restaurant, with an air of nonchalance. So, enjoy this before the secret is out!

For entree we had the Gnocchi with peas which was quite bland, and the figs with prosciutto which was nice. For the main we both had the fillet of beef with peppercorn sauce, the beef was cooked perfectly, however, there wasn't any sauce and the vegetables were over cooked. We didn't have dessert but had coffee which was ok. All in all I don't think we got value for money. Quite expensive for a meal I could have cooked myself.

We also had high hopes for Voro. We were there on a Saturday night when the restaurant was (encouragingly) at full capacity, with couples waiting on the lounge until a table became available. We cannot fault the attention, energy and charm of the owner who worked all the tables with style, or the waitressing staff. What we were disappointed with was the food and I mean all courses.

We shared a starter of stuffed mushrooms ($12). The small plate of 3 small (not field-sized) mushrooms appeared, with a confusing, oily, parmesan infused bread-crumb mix piled atop each cup. I had to discard the stuffing and try and concentrate on the mushroom underneath. Very unappealing.

The offer of water to accompany our meal would also have been a nice touch, but didn't eventuate. The main meals we chose were the stuffed chicken with ricotta and pancetta (unfortunately, very bland and flavours had not infused into the meat) and the fillet of beef with asparagus. I had asked for the beef to be cooked 'medium'. An absolute no-no for kitchen staffs is to then serve up the fillet which had previously been butterfly cut to ensure the inside was cooked correctly. Astonishingly bad technique!

The bowl of hand-cut chips appeared withered, coated in too much oil and underdone. This bowl was barely touched. To try and find one dish that was appealing, I ordered the creme brulee with blueberries/forest fruits. Very nice, but, perhaps, not resting the small cup of brulee in a sea of forest juice is not the way to go.

We left having spent just over $100 for two (we did not drink alcohol on this night) and, sadly felt that we could have eaten better at home. I really wish the best for this new restaurant, but so much has to change.

We were excited to give this a try, as other restaurants formerly in this spot (Il Greco for example) were not so exciting. Sadly, this restaurant seems to be a revamped Il Greco. It's Italian, but if you don't want Italian they also have a Lebanese menu on offer. We couldn't finish the whitebait as it was full of grit, and the haloumi was just too salty. The pasta di voro was nice with lots of seafood, but the veggies that came with my partners beef looked like something my 7 year old cooks after watching Junior Masterchef (think random cut sizes and overcooked). To top the night off, the waitress got into a "discussion" with the kitchen and the owner had to step in to stop the shouting. On a positive note, the owner's partner that was working that night to help out did a fantastic job and was really friendly. Fingers crossed they improve, but sad to say I won't be coming back.

The venue, food and service was gorgeous. I cant wait to go back. Really tasty varieties for a really good price. Table of 5, we had bruschetta, gnocchi gorgonzola, pork belly, margarita pizza, seafood, Garlic Prawn Farfalle pasta and pear salad and there were so many more options. All dishes were delicious. The atmos was great, the owner was very pleasant and friendly to all guests, the place was buzzing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone...even yummy vegetarian choices.

It's great to have a local restaurant which has fantastic food at a reasonable price. We have been waiting a long time for a restaurant like this on the lower North Shore. More than worth trying.

If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant in the Gladesville area, there is a new restaurant called “Voro”.

It is an Italian restaurant. Our company has just had our Xmas lunch at the “Voro”. Their opening hours are usually evening. However, the owner of the restaurant was so friendly and willing to open the restaurant for our company Xmas during lunch time.

With a group 7 people, our staffs like to share different dishes. The restaurant owner gave us great recommendations and arranged all the dishes in large serving dish so everybody can enjoy all of the tastes.

We had a big antipasto with great varieties and BBQ octopus for our entrée, followed by mussel with garlic and chili tomato sauce. Then we had slow cooked whey braised lamb shoulder. The meat was tender and all the dishes were of a good size and we could not finish as we were all so full.

The food was fantastic, everybody enjoyed the food. Service was of course excellent, and the owner opened the restaurant for us only as a special request!

The restaurant has great ambience. Although, we only had lunch, I can imagine Voro definitely has a great ambience for dinner as well! The price was less than $25 per dish, making it a highly recommended restaurant. In my experience, I will give it 9.5 stars.

At last a top quality restaurant in Gladesville. It was a long time coming but well worth the wait. The food was top quality, service from the friendly staff very efficient and the ambience was just great. Well done to all at Voro. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last Friday.

I love this new restaurant. We dined there on tuesday night and we loved it. We had antipasto, BBQ calamari & Fennel salad for an entrees, we cleaned the plates. For mains we had the Voro pasta which was mixed seafood in a tomato and cream sauce, prawn rissotto and the trout, again absoloutley beautiful. For dessert we had a brulle as it was my girlfriends birthday this was thrown in by the manager which is rare these days. The service was A plus very attentive but not bothersome. Very friendly and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble.Great fit out and the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat on! I definitely recommend this restaurant it is just what gladesville needed.
