One of the first things I notice when sitting down is that there are no trolleys, food is brought out on trays which is unlike the Yum Cha in the city. Another thing that I noticed is that tea is free. We devour plates and plates of dishes. Each one is brought out hot and fresh, ranging from fried to steamed dishes and each one is very delicious.

First up is a fried seafood roll which consists of a seafood stick and prawns wrapped in a deep fried batter served with mayonnaise. Following this is a serve of steamed prawn rice paper rolls, pork dim sum (siu mai), fried prawn roll served with a delicious sweet plum sauce, chicken feet, prawn and vegetable dumpling, crab claws, eggplant and fish-cake, seafood dim sum (similar to ‘pork siu mai’ but with a scallop on top and prawn inside instead of pork), tripe, prawn and chive dumplings.

And the total bill? $13 per person. What value for money.

This is the yum cha that the locals eat at. There's no fancy tables (even though white table clothes are on), the waiters/waitresses barely speak English, it's loud, noisy and everything you'd expect from a good bustling yum cha.

The food is served fresh from their kitchen, whatever the waitress brings out on a tray at that very moment is piping hot and straight from the wok/oven/ deep fryer/steamer. There's no trolley dolly to roll around with food that has been there for hours on end. So it's always fresh and tasty

How do you know it's good? The asian community lines up at the door vying to get in. There's no bookings, but that's expected, first in, best dressed.

The people who work there don't speak too much English, some do, but that's part of the experience isn't it? Just so long as you can point, say yes or no then you'll be fed.

Tea is free (as with all decent asian venues) and you'll be given a set of chopsticks. Really worth a try if you've never been. It's my favourite and we keep returning.

Family and I have been a regular here for awhile. The decor is below average here but the food definitely makes up for it.

We speak to the waiters/waitresses in Cantonese, but I asked them for coke once in English and they had trouble understanding what I said.

Other than that and the lack in ambience, this place has some of the best dishes in Cabra. The food comes out extremely fast and it never disappoints everytime we visit. Recommended.

I'm Chinese and love yumcha. Just rating the food: Average yum cha. Good variety. Har cheung is a stand out, silky smooth! Quality is consistent over several visits. My Vietnamese friend who lives locally reckons this is the best in Cabramatta.

Been coming here for 10 years, and happy to report the one thing that has not change is the taste of the food. Yes, the crockery and cutlery is old and needed to be thrown out, but people really come for the food. Friday and Saturdays nights can be packed, so go early.

A tip, order the follwing dishes and you will not be disappointment: crab noodles, prawn rolls, steamed Pacific oysters, tofu seafood hotpot, steamed barramundi, scallop balls.

The restaurant was run down and old. The waitress' did not speak much English, although the food was quite delectable. Although, I won't be dining here again.

After reading the positive reviews on this site we decided to catch a quick dinner here last week and all in all it was a big let down. The restaurant (which is quite small) was only half full but, once seated, it took 10 minutes for anyone to serve us. Being byo, we brought our own alcohol and we weren't even offered a bottle opener for our tsing tao, let alone refrigeration or glasses.

Everything was grubby, including the plates which were chipped and unsavoury to eat off. I don't mind if a place isn't flashy but it actually felt dirty. We ordered the roast duck with plum sauce, wontons and fried seasoned pork chop on the recommendation of our server, which was covered in msg and unpalatable. Worst duck I've had in a long time.

There are many better and cheaper Chinese restaurants in Cabramatta, I won't be wasting my time with this one again.

Not as wide of a variety as East Ocean and Zilver (and other yum cha restaurants nearer to the city), but they had the popular dishes which were quite tasty. A local recommended this restaurant after we gave up trying to find the one we came to Cabramatta for in the first place and while the decor isn't very appealing, the food makes up for it. Prices were reasonable, we were absolutely stuffed and it came to about $14 per head!

If I wasn't a regular customer, I would not enter the shop. The interior is quite run down and old, but don't be fooled. The food is a stark contrast. Order their Oyster dish! Yummy! They pretty much specialise in Seafood. The price is high, but it is worth it for the quality of food.
