I eat at Trio at least once a month and the food has never been anything but perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and fresh. Can be a bit of a wait to get a table during lunch time on Saturday and Sunday, but that being said, the staff is ridiculously friendly and definitely stick to their list and call you if you would rather go for a walk. That being said, they do brunch until about 4pm so we often take advantage of this, especially after a nighty out.

Prices aren't the cheapest but considering the portion sizes as well as the location, they are fair. I have ordered twice from the dinner menu, the selection isn't the greatest but food was tasty. Oh and finally, great coffee, and they even get soy right.

My boyfriend and me always go On the weekend to have a relaxed brunch by the ocean and we Love trio. Tried several places around but Trio always meets same expectations! Always smily and attentive service, never waited for more than 15 minutes, food always fresh and same quality, great smoothies and home made muffins! No pretentious we are fully booked, they will always try to sit you, we walked in peak hours on Saturday and had never been left hungry. We love that place, made it our regilar and highly recommend for everyOne who want a great brunch in the hot spot in Bondi!

Had dinner on a Sunday night with overseas visitors.

Food was ordinary, but the experience was luckily rescued by the attentive and friendly staff. I had the shakshouka with egg (red version as opposed to green)which was nice and flavoursome.

Then had the blue eye trevalla, cooked perfectly (not under or overcooked), flavours were subtle but complimentary. Also had the grilled prawn salad. The salad had too much spanish onions. Dressing was sweeter than necessary. Prawns were fresh and seasoned well. The bread that came with it was unnecessary (was filling enough) but appreciated nonetheless.

In summary, you will be paying for location and good service. Expect fair food, just not memorable food (much like a cafe).

I've eaten here a couple of times. Have mixed feelings about the place.

Each time there has been a problem of some kind with my food when it's come out of the kitchen. For dinner the meatballs were cold in the center, not a big deal and quickly fixed.

Then for breakfast a few weeks later my soft poached eggs came out like hard little balls of... something unpleasant. Dish was taken back and corrected.

Lunch was alright but the chicken was dry/over cooked. Didn't bother complaining. It's actually a little sad with such a great location and a good menu I could have walked away with a great impression of the place if not for little slips from the kitchen.

Ate lunch here on a perfect Sunday. The waitress was very attentive and was extremely pleasant. We arrived late but there was no rush for us to leave and the staff were very helpful. The Blue trevalla was cooked perfectly, the Saffron potatoes a touch underdone but the entire meal was tasty nonetheless.
My companion ate the prawn tagliatelle which she thoroughly enjoyed, the prawns were cooked perfectly and the entire dish was full of flavour. A reasonable wine list and a genuinely good spot to spend the afternoon.

Used to be my favorite breakfast joint, busy busy and always bustling but it's slipped recently in quality and service and for the price you pay isn't worth the wait or view you get.

This place is amazing. Been here time and time again for breakfast and it never disappoints. Most recently, we decided to try Trio for dinner and OMG it was sensational. We had scallops, beef carpaccio, the veal, tortellini, and homemade chocolate cake for dessert, everything was phenomenal. We will definitely be returning for dinner, as far as the staff goes, they are warm, funny, efficient and professional.

View is breathtaking but window side tables are difficult to procure on the weekends, even if you have a booking. We made our booking a day in advance, which apparently wasn't enough notice, but then again this place generally has a queue on the weekends (during the breakfast hours anyway) so there is a lot of demand. Nevertheless, we always thoroughly enjoy ourselves here. Great to bring people for special occasions or out-of-towners.

I was really excited to eat at this restaurant after all these amazing reviews but was disappointed! I had lunch there today and paid $25 for some dry chicken, few leaves of cos lettuce and chopped up tomato.

Service was friendly and nice but the meal took quite awhile to come out and was underwhelming. The dish lacked creativity and such a simple thing like cooking chicken properly let the whole thing down. I felt really ripped off paying fine dining prices for a boring, overcooked salad. Maybe this is more a breakfast place? As I walked past tonight at dinner time and it was empty! They do nice coffee though!

Very nice place to have breakfast. As you just walk outside, the scene itself is partly filling.

Ordered french toast with a side of fruit and the big breakfast. The caramel Latte is one of the best. Coffee beans not too burnt and caramel was not too sweet. The french toast was small and chewy, eggs not overcooked. I had to say I didn't care too much for the raspberry and apple compote, the flavours were a bit too much for breakfast. But hey, what you don't like just place aside.

The big breakfast was worth its value. With a side of freshly squeezed orange juice I think Trio can make your day.

Service was amazing. Might be a bit steep for everyday breakfast, but hey, I don't know what you earn. For the special someone or simple catching up for brunch, it's highly recommended.

The eggs benedict with salmon here is the best one I've tried by far. The affagato is amazing! A must try. We were greeted with friendly smiles and were ensured that we were satisfied with our meals. We had a table that allowed us to enjoy the view of the beachside, the outdoor heaters kept us warm from the chilly winds. Lovely place to have lunch on a Sunday morning.
