We had lunch here on Australia Day, 26th January 2013. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, because of the following:
- Seated at a rear table near windows. It was a hot day and there is no air conditioning in this part of the restaurant. If I wanted to go to a sauna I would have done so.
- We arrived at 12:30pm; ordered once everyone arrived at approx. 1:00pm. Our meals were served after 2:00pm. We were served once we followed up with a waiter. Very slow.
- Medium rare steak arrived well done, the steak cost is $46 with no sides. This was sent back to the kitchen.
- Mixed grilled seafood plate also $46 was well overcooked. The prawns could not been eaten and mussels shrivelled to almost nothing with beards still intact.

I could go on, but this gives you an idea of meal prices and lack of quality for the price.
If you were to order one of these mains and a side dish of vegetables your main is in the vicinity of $60. And at this price I expect good quality food and service. You get much better food at much lower prices at the bowling club down the road.

If they wish to charge at similar levels to other fine dining establishments across the city they need to offer the food and service to match.

For a dining experience your dollar is best spent elsewhere.

We often attend this restaurant. For a local place it is quite good. It is very friendly and family orientated and our choice when we take our little one with us. The food is good, it's not brilliant but for what it is, it's fine. I agree with other reviews that it is a little overpriced but considering the options in the area we are happy to pay that extra bit for the ambience and friendly staff.

Had the scampi and prawn main for dinner which consisted of 3 scampi and 3 prawns no sides that was it. Very average size and very average in taste. The most disappointing thing is I paid $44 for this meal. Sorry but that was a rip off. I did however enjoy the sticky date pudding. Thank God it saved the night. Also the wait staff were very friendly.

Simply fabulous. We were met and looked after by very friendly and helpful staff who were determined to make sure we had a great night. I started with the mussels. Wow what an entrée with about 14 mussels to just get me started. Accompanied by one of their speciality breads it was great. Followed by veal and then the sticky date pudding all made for a very enjoyable time. And of course accompanied by a few glasses of red made from their own grapes. A great place to take the family in an awesome setting. Will definitely return.

We celebrated a family function of about 40 guests on the weekend. What a great relaxing afternoon to say the least. We sat in the garden room over looking the vineyard, great atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly from the get go and the good service continued all thru the day. We had a set menu with all courses being delicious, and on time with guests commenting on the quality and quantity of the food that was served. The owner and staff went to great lengths to ensure that our function went smoothly and that our every request was dealt with promptly.

We will definitely return and look forward to sampling more of the menu.

Service was good attentive by friendly staff. Food was extremely disappointing. I had Scotch Fillet steak. Ordered to be cooked medium, but it was rare. It was served on a sizzling plate and steak was completely covered in rocket, yes, rocket salad leaves. There were no vegies.

My dining partner had Tiramisu for dessert, which he described as being the quality you would expect at a shopping centre food court. Really disappointing. Music played so loudly that we couldn't hear each other talk, didn't help either. We will not be going back.

Took overseas visitors here on Saturday Night, 7th April and have to say will never go again. We ordered 4 entrees and received only 3 so had to chase up the staff to finally get the other entree which arrived at our table after everyone else had eaten theirs. Next was the mains again only 3 orders arrived at our table and yet again we had to chase up the other meal.

By the time it arrived the vegetables served in a separate bowl had gone cold. We had to pay an extra $10 for that small bowl of vegetables which contained one stalk of broccoli and a little chopped zucchini. An absolute rip off! This was our first visit and hoped to have a great night with our overseas visitors but felt totally embarrassed that this is the sort of service we offer here in Camden.

I had my wedding there on the 17th of march 2012, we had a wonderful time. The female waitresses were fantastic, big thankyou to them all, (ladies you were great!). The night was perfect, thankyou so very much.

We live locally and have been promising ourselves a meal at Trattoria La Vigna for ages. What a disappointment it turned out to be. Met by a sour faced waiter who reluctantly showed us to a table, how dare we turn up without a reservation was the attitude. We were left for quite a long while with the menus, I decided to order pizza as did one of our teenage children. It was when we placed our order that we were informed pizza was not served at lunch, this is a pizzeria for goodness sake!

The meals were of an average pub standard and the service poor to say the least. This place has so much potnetial but needs to seriously improve their service and food.
