I don't mind when there are trainee staff on but when they are the only one taking orders for lunch which is very busy on the weekend then there is a problem. The food came out quite quick after the order was taken. Not surprising as every order seemed to take 2-5 minutes to take.

I had the chicken schnitzel burger and my partner had the Burger with the lot, both cost $14.50 (non-member price). Those two items really need to come down in price or up in quality. The burger was nice enough and big enough but really lacked anything that justified the price tag. You can get the same burger down the road for half the price. The chicken schnitzel burger was a big let down. The crumbed chicken tasted like it came out of the freezer and was very small. I did like the turkish bread for the schnitzel. The chips were less than a handful and there was no additional salad to fill the plate.

The general lay out of the brasserie is a mixture of wine bar, which looks fantastic and bunched up cheap club seating which spoils the wine bar effect. Make the choice I say! I would not go back to try the more expensive dishes as I feel that if they can't get the basics right what chance would they have at the upper end.
