One of the best Japanese restaurants in Chatswood. Perfect for family gatherings. All the dishes are delectable and sumptuous. I highly recommend this to Japanese food lovers!

We have been here so many times. Great value for money and plenty of parking at the Mandarin Centre. The decor isn't the best but the food is always reliably good. Perfect for families and friends eating together before or after the movies or shopping.

Located in the Mandarin centre (which is not a part of Chatswood Westfields, so if you park in that area for a movie like me, they don't validate you ticket) its in the food court section near the movie cinemas.

The food itself was standard, good but not great. The edamame was expensive for what little you get but the takoyaki was 8 pieces which was good. Had the lunch specials which are reasonably priced. Ambience wise, its nothing special, its not that big either. Service, nil issues here. It's good enough for me to come back one day.

Average Japanese restaurant. The tables and chairs appeared to be taken from the food court outside.

The food was average in terms of quality and price. For example, the tempura dish was nicely battered and fried, but the colour and taste of the dish was a letdown. The tempura coating appeared white instead of a golden colour and had no flavour to it. Overall, we found the dishes we ordered to be lacking in flavour and attention to detail.

One of my fav places to eat. Food and service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are always smiling. Dishes are quite large and not too pricey. 3 hours free parking.

Toraya is fabulous if you are really hungry, the meals are huge! Food is fresh and the service is good. Toraya is a nice place to go for a business lunch.

Love this place. The sashimi boats are awesome value. Haven't tried the Yamato boat yet (lobster) but it sounds tempting. Isn't the best place for decor but if you love Japanese food, it delivers. Recommended.

Been here a few times. Portions are quite large, the food here is good, fresh and fairly good value. Quite a selection to choose from. Usually get the rice dishes or udon. The decor is nothing to get excited about but the atmosphere is relaxed. It's just off the main Chatswood main street so not so crowded. Will come back.

Nice, helpful staff with generous portions of sushi and sashimi dished up at very reasonable prices. The only thing I would recommend to the management would be to give the restaurant a makeover, give it a real Japanese feel to it.
