I've been eating here for years and keep going back for more, though not as often of late. It is what it is, great and cheap food. The staff, not so great.

To their credit though, the place does get really busy and with the new upstairs seating, they're clearly understaffed. Try to avoid eating upstairs if you can though, it's bad enough with all the voices bouncing off the walls, but the mix of Guns 'n' Roses and Indian tunes cranked up high was simply deafening. Bring some earplugs and enjoy a great meal.

I always enjoy coming here with friends, good food, Ok service, and good value. It's far from "elegant or fine dining"... it's more "cheap n cheerful" with good food and decent prices. And being populated by Indians is always a good sign.

Save your money. Ask your indian friends mum to cook for you.

Yes it may be nice food to those trying indian for the first time. Listen. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, which is a dish..if done right, you know you're eating in a good restaurant.

My dish arrived and I am so hungry. Then I look at the dish, looks Ok nice thick masala, not watery.

Then I see the chicken pieces, these are huge, the first image that came into my head was "how am I gonna fit this in my mouth".

If they had just chopped up the chicken into smaller pieces when cooking it with the masala, it would be perfect, but the fact they use blocks of chicken, the masala doesn't seep into the meat, and you end up eating masala chicken on the outside, plain chicken breast for the next 2 inches.

Also there was a hair in my dish. Ok it happens ..I don't care. I am on the hunt for a good Indian place. When I find one. I will let you know.

I have been visiting this place for the last five years. The food has been terrific and worth the value. Good place to get authentic North Indian meal.

    Suggestion:
Menu is now bit old - they need to add some new dishes.

    Must try:
    Tandoori Chicken
    Tikka Masala Chicken
    Chicken Seekh Kabab
Fish which is listed as entree.

Nice little Indian restaurant to go in. Food is good, service is alright, ambience could be improved upon.

An unassuming little restaurant in Homebush, but don't let appearances deceive you!

The food here is excellent, from the samosas, to the naan bread and the curry's. If you're after an authentic Indian meal. This is definitely the place to get it!

The service is a little hit and miss like others have mentioned, but only because it is just so busy!

The only thing that let's this place down is the ambiance. When the place is full it is very noisy. I don't really mind noisy environments, but a few wall features made from sound deadening carpet would definitely quieten things down a couple db.

The decor is a little bland, but if this comes at the expense of good value and authentic Indian cuisine. Then so be it!

Visited the restaurant using a voucher and was not treated like a second class citizen. Service is a bit choppy because they're so busy. However, the food was fantastic and the servings were quite decent. The butter chicken was not overly rich like a lot of places and their Kulfi is to die for! Also went through a litre of their lassi. Will definitely visit again with or without a voucher.

The food is delicious, the service good, the ambience probably below average, but it is good value for money so I can't complain! Will definitely be going back.

Wow. The food was amazing. My girlfriend and I shared two entrees, two mains, two naans, rice and 2 desserts. For entrees we ordered the Aloo Tikki Chaat and the Galouti Kebab. Both were superb. Very well-rounded flavours and spices. A word of warning, however: as implied by the name, this place does not skimp on the chilli. Both dishes were sinus-clearingly hot (albeit delicious).

For mains, we ordered the Murgh Tikka Masala and the Murgh Methi Palak. Again, both superb. As sides, we had one garlic naan, one mint leaves naan, and shared a rice. The naan was excellent, fluffy and fresh.

Dessert was flawless. We shared the pistachio kulfi and the Rasmalai. By the end, we were stuffed. I also recommend the Mango Kulfi. It was thick and refreshing: the perfect accompaniment to the rich, spicy food.

The service was fantastic, the staff were very accommodating despite booking at short notice. Ambience suits a family affair, chilling with friends, or in my case a local lunch with the girlfriend. Not suitable to impress, however, if the other diners are snobs. The decor is simple and nice, but this is Homebush.

And I love that. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes. I came here with a livingsocial voucher so I can't properly judge on value. But I will say the mains were around the $13 mark on the menu. Go!

Really enjoyable fresh tasting food with just the most beautiful flavours and just the right amount of spice to keep everyone happy. Would very happily return.
