Ok food, absolutely no value for money ($6.00) for 11/2 tomato and minimum (stern) service. Would I go there again? Zero chance.

Just spent a business lunch there. Special of Salmon was just outstanding. The staff were friendly and the location was superb. Well worth a visit. Will bring the wife next time!

Thought we'd try and grab breakfast here one day. Sat down and waited 10 mins for the menu to be handed to us. After we ordered it took close to an hour for it to arrive. Unbelievable. We will never go back. I said to my girlfriend if I ever bring you here again it's cos I've gone off you.

Very nice location, easy to get a park and nice and peaceful, okay coffee. That's where the good stuff ends for me unfortunately! Not exactly friendly, very average service and badly over-priced for what you get. Nice setting, but will only be getting a take-away coffee next time whilst waiting for the ferry. Shame, could be a gold-mine if they hire some staff with personality and service their customers. Sorry guys, used to like going there 5+ years ago, but not it was.

Great views are all you will get! Very basic and uninspiring food. I didn't think anyone served plain old white bread with eggs benedict?! Please don't bother going here unless desperate!

Went here for breakfast with my friend. It started well, the lady asked if we wanted to order the drinks before we started thinking about food. This is pretty standard but I always appreciate it. The chai lattes were good.
But then we looked at the menu and everything was so expensive. I only bought a $20 note with me, so I had a moment of mild panic. Then my friend suggested we order the rustic breakfast and share it. On the upside, the staff had no problems with this. But then, the breakfast....! My poached egg was totally flavourless (don't know how this is possible) and tasted of vinegar so obviously it wasn't fresh. The mushrooms somehow tasted like soap. The toast was a bit soggy. Bacon was great, but the sausage wasn't quite cooked through which I don't like.
They also didn't provide any table water and it was not possible to get their attention. We were so thirsty! So not a particularly good experience, could use an interior designer too. Water views are beautiful though.

If I go to an expensive cafe for breakfast, I do not expect to have the bill slapped down on the table when I still have half my cappuccino to finish. Then when I opened the bill I discovered there was a single supplement. As I had not complained about the hair on my poached eggs, I felt pretty angry and certainly won't be going back. Wish I'd looked up this site first.

We decided to try this cafe for breakfast, well that was a bad mistake I won't make again! Firstly the service was lacking , the food was average and the price was ridiculous. After all this they then informed us that there is a weekend surcharge fee for dinning as if the high prices were all we had to deal with. The guys at this place should move on and let someone open a good cafe !

Got the ferry over on a friday morning with high hopes having read about this place in Time Out magazine. Once we got there we were ignored for a good five minutes, the cafe was pretty empty but there were a few people waiting on takeaway coffees. We then went to the counter, took some menus ourselves and took a seat on the lovely balcony. A woman who seemed like maybe the senior staff came to take our order and got annoyed with me because she couldn't understand my accent when I asked for a mug of coffee (I am irish) and it seemed to be a massive inconvenience to her that we were even there.
Brekkie came with no cutlery and after waiting for some we had to go back in ourselves and find where they keep it with no offer of help from the staff who just looked at us blankly. Coffee was very nice though, the brekkie was decent enough but not worth $18 dollars, it is a lovely little cafe but the staff needs to provide much better service and not rely on the setting so much. We would have stayed for a 2nd coffee but no one came to clear the plates or offer anything else. Won't be going back anytime soon.

This place is grossly overrated, I, have always believed that to attract customers a place has a view or great food/service and rarely both. This place is no exception to the rule. Great view lousy food and lousy service.
Since when did eggs benedict come with toast and not on an english muffin, coffee was weaker than a weak latte from starbucks and the italian momma was rude and kept bumping me with her ass. Making a reservation means seating me within half an hour of it and not making me wait outside for an hour with the walk off the streets. If you don't keep reservations don't make them. Pick up your act.
