No fuss restaurant which is a small, cosy, honest meal. It has a takeaway counter next door which does well and they have great specials on for $10-15 in winter. As for the service it was ok however, needs improvement. One thing I really like about this venue, it's got mid range pricing in a high traffic, high tourist area. If anyone was to stay away from anywhere it would be Darlng Harbour.
Oh My God! I was shocked at how bad this restaurant was. We got seated, but no menu's. So I waited a few minutes then went to the counter and asked for them, they came 20 minutes later. We finally got to order 30 minutes later, the delay was probably because they were trying to appease the 2 tables next to us, whose orders they seemed to misplace and mix up. It was almost comical how bad this restaurant was. A shame though, because the food isnt bad, decent at least, and the ambience in the courtyard is nice, but this in no way makes up for the disgusting service. Maybe the boss should treat them nicer or pay them more, because they just seemed to not care about anything. Bottom line = STAY AWAY, from the restaurant anyway. The takeaway seems a good choice.
The best pizza I have ever had. The other dishes are quite good (my favourite chicken risitto, mushroom and snow peas). The garden area is just like being in Italy, service is average, great ambience and overall my friends and I highly recommend it.
The cramped feel of the restaurant (unless you are sitting out the back) is the only bad point about this lovely little restaurant, handily situated right near the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel.
The service is excellent, the waitresses have always been very friendly and attentive and have never screwed up any of our orders. The food is very reasonably priced and the pizzas are absolutely delicious, as is the pasta. I have not had a chance to try some of the other dishes here but from what I have heard, they get full marks. A great place to relax and have an enjoyable, well-priced meal.
Service was terrible. I agreed to sit outside after they promised to turn on the heater, and despite my repetitive reminders they only turn the heater on after half an hour. They simply did not care. Pizza is average. I would not go there again.
An absolutely appalling dining experience. Was there with a big group, the staff were rude and did not check on the table much, consequently we waited way too long for some of our meals. After repeatedly asking where the missing meals were they discovered they hadn't even cooked them and then lied to us in their explanation as to why. It's a shame, the food was alright, but I will definitely not be eating there again.
We stopped to grab a quick bite at 4am (finished work and starving). Great pizza selection but only the traditional pizzas were available. Wonderful pizza but staff were keen to move us on (understandable given the hour). Would like to try again at a more reasonable hour.
