How grateful was I to the friend who introduced me to this place last month - love it. The food is absolutely superb - esp the goat curry. Great value too! I will definitely be back again and again.

You can see why this place is a little gem among a lot of restaurants along Crown Street.

The restaurant was packed to the rafters when we arrived (incidentally, we found the restaurant by following the spicy aromas from its kitchen). We were greeted by a smiling waitress who, although extremely busy, was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Although we were 20 minutes late for our booking (we did call ahead to let them know of our delayed arrival), and our group had increased from 7 to 10, the waitresses were ever so accommodating.

The food was absolutely superb - gorgeously flavoured with the right amount of spice, the meats simply melted in our salivating mouths. BYO a bottle of your favourite wine or a six pack and enjoy your meals at a leisurely pace - it pays to take your time to savour all the flavours and spices.

I have visited this restaurant a few times but most recently noticed new staff members who weren't very polite and were 'banging' dishes on some tables rather than placing them gently. Also 1 staff member was passing us dishes over the staircase which I thought was quite rude. Food as always was very tasty though.

The food is quite excellent and tasty. Some of the curries are just outstanding. I love the eggplant dishes. If the food servers were a bit more attentive it would be perfect! It's BYO for wine.
