Since 1966 The Little Snail Restaurant has been famous for more than just it's signature dish - escargots. The restaurant has won numerous awards for both the quality and selection of food on offer, in addition to the service for which we are renowned.
At the Little Snail we seek to provide a total dining experience. Most guests opt for the fixed price, 3 course dinner menu ($55.00), or 3 course lunch special ($32) for which we are famous. Our comprehensive wine selection should offer a drop to suit every palate, starting at only $5 per glass or $18 per bottle!
The Little Snail also specializes in corporate functions, special events, parties and any group bookings up to 200 people. We also have private rooms available. Should you have any special requirements outside these options, please enquire with our staff; we are happy to cater to your needs.
The Little Snail Restaurant offers award winning food at an affordable price along with outside dining, jazz and piano bar, and a cocktail bar. Daily specials also available.

I organised a 21st birthday party for my friend and I was amazed at the quality of the food and the service the Little Snail provided. We had the 3 course menu at a great value of $36 each and the restaurant provided a complimentary cake for my friend. it was definitely worth it and I would definitely return in the near future.

Our party of 7 went to The Little Snail last night for a 50th birthday. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such hospitality, which is incredibly important for special occasions such as this.
The two grannies were not up to facing the climb upstairs so we were re-located downstairs without any issues. Mum then wanted to sit near a window, so they moved the tables down without any complaint either.
The meals were fantastic, in both presentation and taste. I had the seafood platter, but also tried the chilli prawn linguine and vege risotto. The seafood platter had such a good variety. I heard from the others that the lamb was great too. I think we were all very hungry, so we found that having the mains alone was not very filling.
I would recommend the three-course, or of course getting a few sides. So we orders a few sides of garlic bread and fries, and we were full in no time.
The atmosphere of the place is really relaxed, for being a 'fine dining' restaurant. I got to practise some of my beginner french with the waiter (who also recommended a to-die-for bottle of wine!).
The birthday cake came out with no hassles. Everyone had such a great time, and had many good things to say about The Little Snail. I cannot fault this place. (Plus, there's plenty of parking on that street with two massive car parks).
Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely love this place! Probably one of the best dining experiences that you can find in Darling Harbour. Have been here on several occasions and not one been disappointed at all. $58 for a three course meal is fantastic value for money especially for city dining.
The Boulette de Fruits de Mer for entree is so yummy if you're into seafood. Had the Churned Hazelnut and Praline Ice Cream for dessert and can honestly say it is probably my all time favourite dessert. Would recommend this place to anyone! Can’t wait for my next return!

Went here for dinner on Saturday night for dinner with friends. This was my second dining experience here and the food was just as delicious as the first time. Started with the leek crepe followed by the seafood plate and ending with a delicious crepe filled dessert. Cannot fault this restaurant. Delicious food, brilliant service and location. Definitely highly recommended,

Food = delicious. Service = exquisite. Value = terrific.
I have sampled my share of french restaurants in Sydney and The Little Snail is by far the best! The escargot are delicious and the croquette potatoes are divine!
I went there for lunch with my husband and we thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly because we conversed with the staff in French and they were very friendly and had their customer service downpat. We also enjoyed the white wine sangria and I could have sipped on it all afternoon!
Would highly recommend as you will not be disappointed.

Was very disappointed by this restaurant. We decided to dine here on a Saturday night, booked a few hours ahead.
The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived. They only offer the fixed price 3 course meal at $58 per person. All the food lacked flavour and I think I could do better at home. The creamy mashed potato, was far from creamy and had lumps and no taste.
At a total bill of just under 150 dollars a very disappointing dining experience. Even with a coupon I wouldn't return here.

Went here for the $36 three course lunch on Saturday with a group of 6 people. The place has a nice ambience, with a lookout of Pyrmont and the water. The decor is a good balance of casual and fancy.
I ordered the Escargot de Bourgogne entree, which was delicious. I loved the garlicky sauce, but wished I had more bread to mop up the sauce. The snails themselves were an odd/interesting taste.
For main, I ordered the Seafood Plate, which was really plentiful. I did, however, notice that there was no salt/pepper squid as listed on the menu, that was a bit odd. The salmon is delicious though, and the rest of the seafood items were standard.
For dessert, I had the Chef Churned Hazelnut and Praline Ice Cream. The presentation was lovely as was the combination of praline, ice cream and biscuit bottom.
All in all, the entire meal was filling and delicious for $36, which is a great deal. I will go back in the future to try the other dishes.
Service was standard, although when we paid the bill, they never returned with the change. This seemed a bit presumptuous (that our change was our tip).

Took my mom and friends for dinner here, when I visited Sydney earlier this year. I love the atmosphere, it's a busy but cozy restaurant for me. Love the big fish tank, we got a table next to it and enjoy the food.
Great service I would say, staff are friendly even though it's a busy time. Love the foods, food is quite unique I must say, nice variations. Reservation is a must especially on weekends I'll say. Other than that, I love my dining experience here and would love to come back in the future.

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I personally think that this restaurant suits everybody's dinner meals, especially for family gathering or birthday and other special occasions. The restaurant has nice and relaxing atmosphere, as well as romantic.
I came here a couple of times with different people and they explained how delicious and creative the food is, especially the desserts. I tremendously adore the dessert menu: the Belgian chocolate (whatever is called). I greatly recommend to order that dish. Also, the salmon meal was the best main meal, because there is smooth and delicate texture and fragrance in the sauce and in the veggie. Thank you.
