Use to be a great place to eat, then they got an article about them in the Good Food guide. All downhill since then as they started to cater for the westerners more and the flavours were minimised to satisfy the western palate. In addition to the price hikes, disappointing all round these days.

Portions, service and selection were all fine. Duck curry ($12) was promising but not thawed. Bit of a downer to bite into juicy duck and find it still frozen inside. Wanton soup ($11) good, but pork slices barely warm. Not a perfect experience.

Ate here for the first time on the weekend, was craving for Pho and usually eat at Pho Hien as my parents always ate there so I didn't know any better. Thought we'd try something new and it was great. The service was quick and the food came out quickly and piping hot. I had Pho Tai (rice noodles in beef soup and raw beef) and asked for the raw beef to be served separately with the bean sprouts blanched (just how I like it) and this is exactly how it was served without any issues.

My hubby (who is caucasian) ate the wide egg noodles with crispy skin chicken, it was really good and nicely presented with delicious crispy onion garnish. It gives Tan Viet a run for its money for both the food and service. You have to order ice coffee at any Vietnamese restaurant, the one served here is great and comes out quickly.

Will definitely come back here, and is a good place to take caucasians friends as the restaurant and serving dishes are quite modern and service is quick.

    We ordered
    Pho @ $9
    Crispy Skin Chicken @ $11
    Ice Coffee @ $3 = $23 lunch for 2 can't go wrong.

    Hope this helps, enjoy.

A few years ago this place was great. Great value and great food, however, this place has undergone new management which has resulted in a poorer quality of food. The tomato rice with beef used to be excellent. Great food portions and great quality, however, recently the portions have decreased dramatically and this dish has been cooked differently overall. The minced prawn wrapped around the sugar cane is still superb.

I loved the Pho (and I am so very, very picky about my Pho!) and the chao tom (minced prawns wrapped around sugar cane and grilled) are excellent. Ambience is irrelevant in places like this, it's not what you go there for. The servings are huge, the quality is good, service is fast. It's not a place to linger in but it's a place to keep going back to to try some other dishes too.

I stopped going here because the food has really gone downhill, very flavourless and mediocre compared to a few years ago (maybe they changed owners?).

Disappointed in the food as this place was listed in the SMH Good Food Guide. Only highlight was the sugarcane prawns you could wrap in rice paper rolls with greens. Chicken curry and claypot pork were disappointing, the so-called 'curry' was like a stirfried chicken in a curry sauce. Seemed like the staff were more interested in turning the 'closed' sign at 9 pm on a Saturday night than serving customers. There are better Vietnamese places in Sydney to eat Vietnamese food.

This is the best food you could ever eat. For $15 there's a lot you can choose from and the amount they give you is unbelievable. It will have you going back for more.

Wow, hasn't this place had a makeover since my last visit!

Thoroughly enjoyed a weekend lunch here with a friend. She recommended the noodles with coconut sauce which I wasn't entirely sure about, especially as it came with a vinegary sauce which I was also supposed to pour over my noodles... but somehow it all worked out into a taste-bud-pleasing, mouth-watering concoction which was like nothing else I've tasted before. But I licked my plate clean.

On past visits I've also enjoyed a decadent lunch of sugar cane prawns, though the portion size makes it truly pigging out in my books.

Service is pleasantly idiosyncratic - if you get offended when the waitress says "Ready to order? Okay, talk" then you'd better stay away! I thought it was part of the character of the place.

I'll definitely be back for more.

A little more expensive than other places in Cabaramatta but the portions seem bigger. I had the spring rolls which was nice and big but the outside of the spring rolls looked like pork crackle. My seafood rice noodles was nice and bigger than your average serving. It was packed when I went, worth going too.
