I just love this place! I have been here dozens of times with family and friends for varying occasions. The food is always tasty and fresh. The service is pretty fast and friendly. Lunch specials are great! definitely value for food as well!

My local Thai offers great quick service with speedy free delivery. The staff are always smiling and the food is pretty decent. Some dishes are excellent while other more 'gourmet' offerings often fail to excite.

This is a wonderfully unassuming, authentic Thai eatery nestled in between private houses on Addison Road.

Cool decor welcomes you as you settle in for an evening delicious Thai at more than reasonable prices. The cold rolls and chicken satays are a great way to get things started and then its time to dig into a beautifully sweet chilli/cashew stir fry or the King Pad Thai.

The service is almost too efficient but equally friendly and the atmosphere is always buzzing. Oh, and it's certainly worth taking advantage of the BYO!

Had dinner for the first time here last Saturday night. We arrived about 7 pm with no booking. Inside was full, so we were seated outside. We ordered the Ginger Chicken Stir Fry and the Pork Flat rice noodle. Both dishes were delicious, generously portioned and delivered to us with astounding speed.

The service was quick and friendly. The inside decor looks good. Would have to say I will go back to eat in, or take advantage of their home delivery service.

I've been to Thaipower a few times for takeaway, the restaurant is usually buzzing most nights. Overall I've found the food generally pretty good if you want a quick, tasty and relatively cheap Thai. Last time I tried the steamed prawn dumplings which were quite nice, also satay chicken skewers which had a yummy satay sauce.

We also tried the chicken jungle curry which was nice and spicy, also the green thai chicken curry which was very nice.

If it comes for value Thaipower's lunchtime prices are just right. Service wonderful. Food well presented and tastes great. They are the benchmark, I am yet to find a better restaurant.

Dined here with a group of eight. As it was a cold night we all had coats but when we arrived nowhere to put your coats as there was no coat hooks and they have those awful stools. Some of the entrees were quite nice but the mains were not the best Thai around. Staff were quite pleasant but the food let the place down.

Good value Thai. Not the best in town but great to have an option on Addison Road and it's obviously being embraced by the locals. Lunch is great value and at night the restaurant looks good with the lighting. I agree that the staff are sweet.

Vida on Addison, Portuguese, has morphed into Thaipower. We hadn't booked, just driving by, saw the change, took the plunge. Clearly here, we have different owners and operation, and man what a change for the better! Saw a heap of takeaway hitting the road, and the restaurant was humming.

We shared entrees, steamed prawn dumplings (excellent) and money bags (smallest I've seen, yet gorgeous), four of each for both dishes. Mains were a green chicken curry (I know, but we do have to benchmark!) and a garlic and pepper squid. The curry was fantastic, just great. The squid was fresh, flash cooked, but a little chewy, enjoyable nevertheless. BYOed, came to $48.50 including the couple of serves of steamed rice.

Must make mention of the wonderful, attentive and happy service. (lots of staff, four on the floor plus the kitchen crew) What a joy to be looked after in such a way, smiles not snarls, nothing was a problem, wonderfully attentive without being over-bearing. We enjoyed our meals and the vibe, a pleasant surprise for an off the cuff visit. We will go back!
