Food was great and we were served within 15 minutes. The restaurant itself was modern and clean. I had the Tom yum which was superb. We also ordered Prawn Pad thai and lemon grass curry. Everything is reasonably priced. Great place to have a nice lunch with mates.

Got takeaway ordering Chicken Pad Thai, Seafood Fried Rice and Tom Yum. Tom Yum was definitely the pick the bunch. Seafood Fried Rice and Pad Thai were standard fare. Reasonably well decored restaurant in front of Auburn Station. Service was a bit hit and miss, I think the quality of waiting staff is variable, as they were quite abrupt when I called to put my order in initially.

Tasty food but Abysmal service. Dishes arrived at our table with no cutlery to serve it with. When we asked for spoons, they tossed them across the table. Their accents and mannerisms resembled that of high school kids from penrith.

Today I went to Thainamite for lunch as I had a hankering for Tom Yum soup. I have been here before and enjoyed the food, and it is the closest Thai restaurant to my workplace. There was only one other customer when I walked in so I ordered my Tom Yum off the lunch menu at the counter and sat down.
The service was quite quick as was to be expected given there were hardly any customers, and the soup was good but not the best I've had - it was overseasoned (and I love my herbs and spices so if it was too much for me it would probably be way too much for the average person!). The serving size was decent for the price but again not the best.
All in all it was fine, until I went to pay. The woman at the counter charged me $9 - I queried it as the lunchtime prices are cheaper. On their lunch menu it says between 11am-4pm chicken dishes are $9.50, and next to the soups it says to take $2 off the above price, making it $7.50. The woman, who I found out later was a manager, said yes that was correct but on my slip they'd written $9. I told her that I had thought it was $7.50 judging by the menu, who had written $9? The boss, she said.
I asked if I could speak to the boss and she said he was out. She said that yes she understood that the menu said it was $7.50 but her boss had written $9 so she had to go by that. What on earth? I paid the $9 but will not be going there again, it's just absurd. I started working in Auburn just recently and would likely have gone to Thainamite once a week because I love Thai food but now I'll be taking my business to other place.

I have eaten at this restaurant how many times - I've lost the count. I have tried pat thai, the thick stir fry noodles, tom yam and beef salad etc etc Their food is Very Very nice and Very cheap for the taste, quality and service you get! I've been to this restaurant on a Monday evening to get a take away for dinner. I couldn't believe how busy the restaurant was. The restaurant itselt if not very big or fancy. But very clean and modern. I would definitely go back to Thainamite many many times :)

In the spur of the moment, the Sunday drive to fish market was diverted to this Thai restaurant in Auburn. Locally, Auburn is a multicultural community. The location of the place is opposite the Auburn train station and it is on the side closest to Parramatta Road.
The ambience of the restaurant is more like a takeaway restaurant when there is a sign next to the cash register saying 'cash only'. It is around 3pm on Sunday and family of predominantly Muslim background are arriving for late lunch. Even the decor has a bit of Muslim theme and a big logo of 'Halal' on the laminated menu.
We ordered 3 dishes. The Thai crab fried rice, duck salad and beef salad. Chilled water in the glass bottle and bowl of prawn crackers are served while waiting for the dishes.
We didn't wait for long for the dishes. The Thai crab fried rice was the best dish of all. Both duck and beef salads have generous serving of vegetables. The beef salad or known as the 'Crying Tiger' was more like beef stirred fry on hot plate. The accompanied condiment was not authentic, more like water down BBQ sauce with light soya sauce.
Overall, the bill came to $45.00. It is more like a quick and easy feed while the authenticity is compromised.

Although the food is great. I would not recommend it as a place to dine out, the service and attitude of the waitresses is horrible! Takeaway is a better option. But don't order during lunch because they charge a dollar less, they only fill 1/2 the takeaway boxes! I had been a regular customer of Thainamite for almost 2 years now.
I was absolutely disappointed today when I went to collect my fried rice and found the boxes to be practically half-empty! When I complained about this, the waitress got rude and defensive saying that’s what you get on the lunch price. Just because the lunch price is a dollar cheaper, they decided to cut back on the rice! Every Time I’ve ordered for the past Two Years, the boxes were properly filled like you would expect from every resturaunt. Nor is it stated anywhere in their menus that the lunch proportions are smaller.
What was more disgusting was one of the owners admitted he had given me less and that he was constantly telling his chefs to not fill the containers so much. If that is the case then buy some new smaller containers to go with your new stingy trend.

Good thai food, good prices, but beware, no alcohol allowed, and payment in cash only, also surcharge on public holidays.
