Ambience was quite lovely, the decor was very Thailand. Tables were a bit too close together for my liking, I prefer more private dining and I could hear everything the table next to me was saying. The food was alright, it wasn't that special/different to any other thai restaurant, sufficient, but I did like the salt and pepper squid! rice was bland. Service was alright, quite efficient and satisfactory, not that attentive, just the standard are you ready to order. I believe that food was value for money.

First time visit and will be the last. My partner and I ordered 5 dishes. 1 dish we specifically asked for no chilli/spices as I get get reactions. It came out with chilli pieces over it, when we complained and asked for it to be replaced they brought it back out and this time chilli sauce was all over it, and the 2nd dish that came out had hair in it. Wouldn't recommend Thainamic to anyone.

I have been here twice, with a friend and a group of people! On both occasions the food was fantastic. It's got tough competition in the area with some other good restaurants close by.

The pad see ew is unreal! And the Wok toss with the beef is a must order! I would also recommend getting yourself a plate of their soft shell crab! A mountain of goodness! Have their cocktails, which may take some time to make but they are well worth it! You get alot for your money! And the food is super tasty.

The atmosphere is like any busy restaurant, bookings a must on Fridays and Saturday's! I'll be back again!

Great dining environment. Very arty and different to any thai restaurants I've been to.

Food was fantastic with lots of variety. My favourite dish was the Pad See Ew and Nam Tok Salmon. My favourite drink would be the Thai milk tea which is not too sweet which suits my taste buds.

Staff there were very friendly with great service. Above all I'd give it a 9/10 dining experience. Will definitely be back for more food on the menu.

Food was decent first visit but my later visits were disappointing - food was a bit dry and tasteless. The decor is nice but I'm not a fan of the arrangement - you can hear and see fellow diners all too well. I like my dining privacy when with family or friends. Bad background music does no justice. And please change the aluminium cups. It feels gross to drink out of. Service... staff are friendly - no complaints. But there is a dodgy system where they charge you $2.20 per head if rice is ordered. So even if only one person has ordered one serving, the entire table gets charged as well and are given unwanted 'complimentary' rice servings. I hope they allow BYO rice. Kidding. Won't be back.

Good food (had pad thai and satay sticks), though not as good as the hype will tell you. Ambience wise it has a feel its doesn't belong in Canley vale (no offense!). Service is better than your average thai place and the food didn't take long to come out. Value wise its a bit cheaper than other thai places. I promised a friend I would come with him so this review should be updated.


Update:
Been back for more with a friend, both of us were impressed. We each had curries and both were nice. They didn't scimp on the duck either. We tried this entree which looked good in the menu but wasn't good tasting. A place I would recommend coming too.

Love the Thai food here! Have been back many times and have recommended it to friends who also love it. Our favorite is the crispy chicken with sweet chilling jam and cashew nuts! The best!

The food at Thainamic was lovely and a tad spicy(green curry). The value is average as the proportions match the price. Went here with my girlfriend and we were given a seat promptly. The problem was we were given a seat right at the front of the shop, where it was a cold night and the windows were wide open.

The waiter said if it got too cold we were able to close the windows. But after we asked him to close it later on in the night, he replied with his boss didn't let him close the doors. He ran back and forth talking to his boss and us and finally we were provided with a seat inside.

The waiter was kind and extremely friendly and I guess I should have had a word with the boss when the waiter asked me, but I didn't want to create a fuss.

Good food, good service and good value. What more could you ask for? Mains we ordered the crab, the very spicy green curry (which was good) and the seafood salad. For dessert we had the black sesame ice cream which was a tad icy. But other than that, this establishment is a must go to.

Exceptional service. Quick, friendly and attentive. Food comes out quickly and taste fantastic and flavorsome! Love the decor and the atmosphere of this restaurant. Definitely one of the finer Thai restaurants in the area.
