We got a takeaway from here. The chicken wings as entree were sensational and both the peking duck curry and the chilli basil noodles were full of really good quality meat and big chunky vegies. Having had some very average takeaways from some of the Norton Street Thai places, we'll definitely be ordering from here again. Even our cat was trying to climb up on our plates!

Don't get takeaway from here. Very stingy servings and the duck rolls have very little duck in them.

The restaurant was disappointing after reading the other reviews. The place had a faint wiff of mothballs and I was noted that all the seats had their IKEA labels displayed! the duck rolls were full of vermicelli but had very little duck in them. The veg spring rolls were less than average too. The rice was stodgy and almost cold and the main course was a bit lacking. We were able to cancel the other main course we ordered. We will not be going back. There are much better Thai restaurants around.

I and a group of friend strolling along haberfield looking to get something to eat.
Italian, Italian, Italian and we spotted something different. Thaiburi although its didn't say restaurant, we figure it out that its a place for food. We all decided to give it go. We all received a very friendly greeting. We order a few entree (Satay, Mid chicken wing, curry puff, and two mix) we clean it up in no time.

As for main we couldn't return the plates any cleaner. We all think we found a hidden gem, and to keep it to ourself. This place is too good so I took upon the task to tell all.

The Thai is decent. I like the Green Curry Chicken. I am also a huge fan of Tom Yum soup but I was not all that keen on the one from Thaiburi. It had a very fishy taste that did not appeal despite the fact that I love Seafood.

Ducked in here for a late-ish dinner Friday night. Staff were welcoming and smiling. Satay chicken skewers entrée was enjoyable. Very flavoursome and chicken was perfectly tender. No dryness in sight. Money-bags were very tasty also. Beef massaman was the best I've had in the five dock/drummoyne/haberfield area.

Pad See Ew noodles were a little slimy for my liking but this would be my only gripe if I was pressed for one. Service was swift and friendly. Decor is definitely basic, but I guess that keeps the overheads down. Very reasonable pricing. About 45 bucks for the above (+ 1 x boiled rice and incl corkage). BYO is always a bonus. I'll be back.

We come here quite a bit as it is friendly and different to the Italian restaurants nearby. Duck curry has been very well received. Things are nice and fresh and the service is all smiles and nothing too much trouble. No, it isn't your Neil Perry experience, but then you're not paying those sort of dollars either. It's BYO, it's friendly and it's inexpensive. Good on a weeknight when you can't be bothered cooking and good on the weekend for a more languid meal.

Two of us walked in on Saturday evening at 7pm without a booking and were greeted with smiles and excellent service. The food was fresh, tasty and well-presented. It is a small establishment. We shared 2 entrees: the curry puffs and the chicken satay skewers which were tasty. We then shared 2 mains: vegetable penang curry which was so tasty and fragrant and we also ordered the chicken pad see ew which was absolutely delicious. Tasty, fresh, and more-ish. I was so full and was disappointed that I couldn't fit it all in! The thick rice noodles were perfect and it was just chilli-hot enough. The bill came to $40 which was great for 2 people who left satisfied, full and we will definitely go back.
