A fantastic little Thai restaurant right on the water at Cabarita. We enjoyed the tranquility and the food was excellent. I can recommend the Seafood Salad and the Chilli Jam Prawns. This place is operated by Thai chefs and staff (genuine Thai) therefore, the food does remind me of eating in Thailand. They like Chilli and use it generously in most dishes. Keep that in mind and ask them not to add it if Chilli is not your favourite.
Having said that this really is genuine Thai food with a Thai flavour.You can't beat the location! Recommended.

Fantastic little place, tucked away in Cabarita Park. Views are stunning - no charge for BYO and casual relaxed atmosphere. We come here regularly and are impressed with the food and friendly service.

Fantastic location but not so for the food. Curries were horribly sweet. Wrong bill presented, wrong meal presented, slow service, dirty plates left to sit too long on tables altho seemed to be plenty of staff. A disappointment.

This BYO restaurant is now called THE THAI. It is a wonderful little kiosk right on the water at the marina. In short, it's "simple romance". Tiny place with plain and simple decor, but a view to die for and fantastic food and service. I love going there with my partner and we sit tucked away on the bench by the water with a bottle of wine. As an added bonus, real Thai people run the place. Highly recommended.
