We've been here many a time, and are yet to be disappointed. Showed up without a booking on a Saturday night and they were able to accommodate us quickly. The food is always good and reasonable value for a local Thai restaurant. BYO wine and takeaways available.
The worst service we have ever had. Had to wait an hour for our meals to come out and took forever to come over and take our order. Never again!!! And then at the end we only got 10% off the bill.
It was thanks to Eatability that we discovered this little gem of a restaurant. It's tucked away in a quiet corner of Victora Avenue, Chatswood, just before Chatswood Chase, on the other side of the road. Being Sunday evening, we found easy parking in a nearby side street.
Service was polite and friendly, its a little slow. But the food is the real winner here. Everything we ate was delicious, fresh and nicely presented in just the right portions. Even the coffee was surprisingly good. We kicked off with the mixed entrée and then moved onto ginger chicken, beef in peanut sauce and steamed rice. The sticky rice and mango dessert was a real winner. All that, plus drinks, for a tad under $62.
As one of my fellow-reviewers has said, the crisp white napery and plush carpets give Thai Naan a slightly more upmarket feel than your average Thai eatery. Being a quiet night, it did lack ambience, but nevertheless we found it a pleasant place to spend a relaxing evening.
Highly recommended, but not sure how they'd cope on a busy night.
We went to Thai Naan Chatswood last Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed the night. The food was fresh and delicious, particularly the excellent seafood bombe alaska style! We weren't going to order the dish but fortunately succumbed to the waiter's recommendation. Reasonably priced good honest Thai food!
Best curry puffs I've ever had! Great garlic prawns (with greens and carrots) as well! Best of all, the price is very reasonable and they deliver free of charge. Great local restaurant.
