This place was renovated in June 2008, and the ambience is now beautiful. It's packed nearly every night, and the food is outstanding. Just make sure when you receive your meals that you check what it's called, as they're authentic thai people and sometimes you get your friend's meal! The Pad Pak is the best I've had in Sydney and the staff are really friendly.
Suprisingly quiet Saturday lunch considering the markets were on at Kirribilli. Standout was the laksa - delicious creamy soup and not too hot. Also tried the soy stir fried glass noodles with beef (average) and chicken and pineapple fried rice (quite good, with bits of fried onion and cashews). It's pretty tough competition though between the four Thai restaurants along Broughton St.
The food is consistently good and you are always greeted with a smile (though you sometimes feel it is everybody's first day at work). Still a young restaurant but already the best Thai option in Kirribilli.
Early days yet for the latest entrant (the fourth Thai!) on the Kirribilli dining scene. The fresh and authentic flavours of Thai Beef Salad and jungle curry impressed; stir fries we've tried have been tasty too, with perfectly wokked veggies. Brown rice is a bonus for the low GI crowd! However, the meat was a bit chewy on 2nd visit, and they were obviously having difficulty coping with a Friday night crowd. But putting the teething difficulties aside, they should definitely be given a go.
