I Seen a write up in the Telegraph last month referring to the best Larb Gai in Sydney was at Thai Top North, I love Larb Gai so had to give it a try. It was one of the best I have ever had. I believe If a Thai Chef makes good Larb, then he's passed the test. We also tried the whole Barramundi and the spicy King Prawns. I will be back for sure. Thanks to the staff, they really made us feel at home. Good Work Thai Top North.

We had home delivery lastnight and after reading the reviews we thought we'd be in for a real treat. Unfortunately this was not to be. The food was delivered within the expected time and it was hot but it was without a doubt the worst Thai food I have tasted in my life. We had spring rolls, lady fingers, green duck curry and garlic prawns which was supposed to have chilli added. There was hardly any duck and no chilli in the prawns and the flavour really was lacking. Definitely won't be going back here.

This is the best thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. The service is 2nd to none. Delivery is excellent as well. The food is off the planet. I highly recommend the pad thai, thai beef salad or my new personal fav the chilli basil chicken. Simply amazing food at a fantastic low price. I will be eating there again and again and again!

I've tried all the Thai places on Rocky Point Road, this place leaves them for dead, don't expect the best service, but the food is worth it. The tom yum is the best, if you like it hot, try "waterfall beef" so tasty authentic and spicy it makes your eyes water or the mild chu chee barra fillet that melts in your mouth. Next time I will be trying the burning crack chicken and cashew curry, the table next to us raved about it and told us they were addicted.

Me and my partner just ordered food for pick up. smelt great in th car coukdnt wait to go home and start eating. We were very disappointed! the pad thai was drenched in soy sauce (had to be thrown out) the fried rice was ok, and the satay sticks were bad, but we were hungry so we ate them. I will order again but something different only because I have heard great things and they always have people in there.

Authentic, friendly romantic and terrific ambience. The entrees are gr8. We love the spring rolls, fish cakes, curry puffs and satay prawn skewers for entree, sticky rice and custard with ice cream 4 dessert is Yummo, we always go for a different curry for a main depending on what we feel like. Very nice thai and we'll keep going back.

We dined at Thai Top North based on the reviews here. We were lucky enough that the night we dined was the special event night (although we didn't have the Burning Crack Pepper). It's a cute little authentic looking thai restaurant. I loved the ambience! It is decked out with traditional thai homewares, the lighting and music is perfect. Not the best thai I've had, but overall a great dining experience and very well priced!

I was invited to Thai Top North's special event night, 3 weeks ago called the Burning Crack Pepper Banquet night (for Chili lovers), there was Traditional HOT and mild dishes, a Thai guitarist playing and the place was full, what a great atmosphere, the owner gave away gift vouchers and prizes, it was only $25.00 per person, how goods that. We couldn't wait for the next special night (tue's 5th Aug).
We came back again last weekend and sat on the cushions, there wasn't any live music but the traditional music made it feel like we were back in Chiang Mai. Service was great, it's a family run business and they really made us feel welcome, "THANKS"
The Burning Crack Chicken curry and Pla King Prawns were Spot On. If you have been to Thailand you really will appreciate the Hot Dishes. We will be back again, Can't wait for the next Burning Crack Curry night. "Keep up the good work Thai Top North"

The window sign said "Best Thai Restaurant NSW" but that was 6 years ago and maybe it's time to get the signwriters in, or maybe Gordon Ramsey! When you get given laminated menus, be afraid.
Let's start with what's good, the decor is atypical Thai if that takes your fancy and there's even traditional tables with cushions for those diehards that don't suffer from Deep Vein Thrombosis.
Service - the Aussie guy needs an injection of charisma but it was a long weekend and maybe he was moonlighting, didn't really make you welcome.
Food - of the four dishes the House Special chicken 'black curry' was really good. The massaman beef was average and the chill basil stir-fry was so so, nothing special here. Water filter and real wine glasses wouldn't go astray and maybe some background music ?
