This restaurant used to be really good. It has now been taken over by new people and the service is shocking. It is around an hour from sitting down to getting first food, orders are missed, drinks don't come, there is no follow up and all this is greeted with a bland smile by the new proprietor. It is a real shame as it is a local for us and we used to enjoy going. But we won't be any longer.

Food was awful. Sunday night-obviously cooked prior to arrival and reheated. Tough as old leather. Never to go back. Should have returned the food to kitchen.

I've been there many times since they started open the door years ago, both food and service are still getting lower and lower quality, Thai Riffic is never as good as before.

I go here a lot as the food is mostly outstanding though service can be a little hit and miss when busy. Love the beef massaman curry and the chicken in the pandang leaves for entrees. Very pretty restaurant too, love the little lanterns hanging out the front!

We pre-ordered for lunch one day before for what we hoped would be a quick and easy mid-week meal. When we arrived they didn't have our table setup, and did not have a record of our pre-order. Then after we ordered, some meals arrived after about 20 minutes, yet others remained missing? After 1 hour, one meal had still not arrived, so after asking for it and being told it would be out in a minute, it still did not arrive for another 10 minutes so we told them not to worry as we had to get back to work.

10 minutes after that when we had agreed not to have the dish, the dish arrived! Then they brought 3 other dishes that we hadn't even ordered, and didn't even want! They insisted that we pay for them and threatened to call the police if we didn't pay for these 3 additional dishes. We ended up paying as the staff became agressive, and we didn't even get these extra un-ordered dishes! So overall, a bad experience from beginning to end. Don't go there!

We had trouble with this restaurant from the moment we tried to book. It took three telephone conversations for them to get our booking correct. The service was terrible, entrees came out fine. There were 12 of us all ordered our own main, we had to wait about twenty minutes between the first of us being served and the last. We brought a birthday cake, they turned the lights down sang happy birthday, then left us with a cake, but no plates, knife, cutlery. We had to ask for the bill four times! Won't be going back. Food was okay, but not worth the bad service.

So disappointed with their food and service. Wait so long for our meal. Food were too sweet. Will not coming back again.

Ranged from average to appalling food. We ordered the grilled barramundi, they told us they do not do it any more, so we had the deep fried barramundi, instead. The fish was served cold, the mango salad was not fresh. The fish was over dried, and little meat, mainly bone.

Staff were rude, and disinterested in being helpful. They did not seem to care the food was below par. To top this off the toilet has a sign in it stating all toilet paper goes into the bin not toilet? Is this even legal in a restaurant? Two nights later I had a fantastic meal at somewhere else canteen thai, and the fish was far far better and cheaper, with better service..

I would never recommend Thai terrific. Thai terrible, more to the point.

Ate here because we had enjoyed Thai Riffic in Randwick on other occasions. But what a massive disappointment. The food was substandard and served on huge, stone cold plates and at best was lukewarm. A request to reheat/microwave my dish was accepted but the food came back in the same condition.

Used to go there quite frequently until a strange occurrence with the staff. Completely rude, ignored us for a good half hour before we ordered drinks, then ignored for another good while. Watched as new customers came in and were served because they spoke the waiters language, were looked at, and then ignored again. Absolutely disgusting and had to walk out without food. Never returned.
