The food is tasty, aimed at western palate. Nice casual setting and the staff don't speak very good English but it is a Thai restaurant so that can happen!
Takeaway isn't as good as the restaurant food, but for the money it is fine.

We dined here several times and liked the food and atmosphere, but when we ordered delivery the other day, we ended up with their nightmare service.

First of all we had to wait for 90 minutes to get it delivered when we were told it would be around 45 minutes. Secondly they mistakenly brought us Chicken curry while we ordered Beef. As we noticed that after we opened the container, we phoned them to ask for the exchange. They apologised and told us it'd come right away within 15 minutes but again we waited for another 60 minutes.

When we complained their poor service, even the senior staff didn't apologise for their repetition of bad service. However, it gets even worse! They offered us the refund but insisted us to return the whole food for an exchange of the refund, after 3 hours of communication back and forth!

Truly disgusted by the whole hassles with them. We'll never go there for sure.

Of all Thai Riffic's this is by far the worst! Truly disgusting the way the staff treated us, and my Chicken Pad Thai had 1-2 tiny slices of chicken in a whole plate of noodles. Complete rip off and staff need lessons in how to serve customers with respect.

Thai Riffic? Not! I love thai, but not this one. To put it bluntly, bad food and rude staff. The worst Thai restaurant I have ever eaten at which is quite a claim as I generally eat Thai around twice a week.

The food is ok but on paying they didn't listen and disputed whether they could void a master card payment ie. I asked for a debit payment not mastercard. They said they couldn't void a MC payment and also that a pin/signature didn't mean anything. They're wrong. They can void things, it's just too hard for them.

It's true that this place is very expensive. It's not like your $6.50 Thai lunch special at your local Thai kitchen. Dishes range from around $17-25. For the price the food is expectantly better then what you'd expect at other places. Is it worth all that extra money though? Perhaps not. The bill at the end came to around $80 for 3 dishes and a couple of entrees. We had brought our own wine with us. They have a wide range of dishes on the menu and we had a noodle dish with vegetables and tofu, green curry with chicken and a mushroom dish with tofu.

All in all the food was pretty enjoyable. The staff are quite incompetent and have a lot of trouble understanding and speaking English. It was borderline ridiculous. The restaurant ambience is quite nice. Not too dark and not too light. The seating is quite nice with the low tables and stools. In summary the food is better then decent but not quite worth the bill. I'd recommend if you want a good meal and you don't mind paying a bit extra.

Style over substance. Having recently moved to the area we tried Thai Riffic as from the outside it looked like a funky, well presented new thai restaurant. They have done a great job with the interior design and it looks like a restaurant that would charge double the prices they are asking.

Unfortunately, they must have spent all their money on decoration and very little on chefs and produce. As we were trying a new thai restaurant I used my yardstick for comparison, tom yum and green chicken curry, two staples which any decent thai restaurant should be able to get right.

The tom yum managed to offend 4 out of the 5 senses. It looked cloudy and grey, smelt like stale fish, had a grainy texture and tasted like warm salt water. This was sent back immediately. The green chicken curry fared better, however, why you would serve a curry on a plate is beyond me. As a result there was very little sauce and the amount that was there was watery, flavourless and difficult to collect with a spoon. That being said, it was a big improvement on the tom yum but still not very high standard.

The service was quite attentive and friendly and we were happy to see that the soup was removed from the bill without us having to ask. Nice to have the BYO option too.

If you rate a restaurant based on design, this is the place for you, however, if you care at all about flavour and quality look elsewhere.

Great decor with a funky vibe. Not the cheapest Thai, not the best Thai but all in all a good place for a group to enjoy a casual lunch or dinner.

All in all - friendly service, fresh food and noisy. Happy feel for a not cheap but definitely cheerful Thai experience.

One of the best Thai restaurants around - the food is delicious and top-notch quality. Presentation is gorgeous - both the restaurant decor and the food itself is stunning! Highly recommend the BBQ beef. Great, quick service.
