Pretty good Thai, fresh and tasty. We had the cold spring rolls for entree, and prawn pad thai and prawn chilli and basil for mains. Very enjoyable. Reasonably priced.

Have been here twice now.

Most of the starters are your classic thai, curry puffs, spring rolls, etc, that probably come from the same box as every other thai restaurant in Sydney, so they taste the same too. Their satay chicken was good, nothing to write home over. However, the herby duck and chicken pandan entrees were both very very good and a bit different from the norm. Rather disappointed by the chicken wings though, very ordinary.

Highly recommend the duck salad main: lots of juicy, succulent pieces of roast duck (which I don't usually enjoy), on a pile of fresh salad with an incredibly tasty dressing.

Another stand out main is the Creamy Sweet Basil Curry. Have had this both with seafood and with chicken and both times it was just so tasty, by far the best Thai curry I have ever eaten, and I eat them a lot! So good that now almost no other Thai curry will do.

Staff are very quiet but attentive, and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant created using lighting and by seperating areas, great for a nice romantic dinner. Definitely a cut above most Thai places in Sydney.

Food was average, when we dined in, the staff appeared to be more interested to talk among themselves then serving us.

We went for dinner here based on a recommendation, and it lived up to its billing as a class above most thai places. It has an interesting menu containing a number of specials that make it a bit unique. While a number of those specials are quite pricey for thai ($25-30), there are also plenty of options for $15.

We had the curry puffs, cinnamon duck and bok choy, and the creamy basil king prawns. the curry puffs were average, but the mains were superb, especially the duck.

The duck was sweet and fragrant, with loads of succulent duck and roasted duck skin, and the prawns were huge and juicy, in a slightly unique sauce that we enjoyed.

It was just over $60 for 2, including corkage and a take home bag of leftover food, so not bad, but not super cheap.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the room is more nicely decorated than most restaurants in the area.

Tasty, fresh food with generous portions. The service is efficient without being intrusive. The kitchen is in full view, so if you're so inclined you can watch them in the background. Soft shelled crab and duck salad a highlight.

Just superb food. When it came out to other tables, I was already wowing what I was seeing. Then ours came out and wow!

I had mixed seafood with lemon leaf and peppercorn (10/10) and my partner had vego curry (8/10). Portions were a good size. We were both stuffed at the end of it, and I'm a big eater. Definitely returning here.

This place is not a great place to go to if you want good thai food. You rather drive for another 10 minutes to newtown for better hai food. Quality is not there. I had the drumsticks and it was as small as can be, even KFC did better. Tried the pak kieu mau and that was really average. Well I won't be back anytime soon.

Terrific fresh food here with good portions. Very tasty fish cakes, soft shell crab and papaya salad and the sauces all have a nice bite to them. The service is a little shy but competent and the decor is very pleasant. The value is very good. Visited again and was again impressed by the value here. The portions are very large, the presentation fantastic, decor wonderful, service was great. Terrific to see the chef and his team working together harmoniously. We are making an effort to visit more frequently. Well done!

This place is a gem. We stumbled across one night trying to find somewhere to have dinner in Marrickville, liked the look of the place (great decor) and the food and service were delightful. We have been back since and I have been recommending Thai Paragon to all my friends.
