Went to this restaurant with my partner for a date and it ended up being one of the best meals I've had. We got the waiters attention as soon as we walked in and he sat us promptly and asked us for drinks.

The food came quicker than we expected and was delicious. I've never had pumpkin curry before but will definitely be ordering it again. Was hard to just choose a couple of dishes, especially seeing what the table next to us had ordered which looked just as great. The waiter was exceptionally friendly which just added to the experience.

The home made coconut ice cream for dessert was amazing. Again something I would highly recommend. Overall the restaurant has done a fantastic job seeing its only just over a year old.

This little restaurant tucked away in a beachside locale was a great salute to the pleasures of Thai cuisine. With brightly lit, uniquely adorned interiors and all tables filled, the atmosphere was cheerful and cosy.

We started with a selection of entrees, all of which did not fail to impress. We then enjoyed a range of delectable mains where the flavour had multiple dimensions and was subtle rather than strong. It's great to see a restaurant create Thai dishes as culinary delights rather than making them in the fast food style that is prevalent in some areas of Sydney. Noodles, fried rice, soft shelled crab, lamb concoctions amongst others were all great eats.

The only downside to our experience was the long wait for the food (quite a while). The waitresses were understanding and mentioned that the restaurant was packed with other diners, but we were still surprised. We were very hungry by the time the food arrived and I can only say that next time we will come at a less busy hour, as I will definitely be back for more!

We went for the lunch special at 8.90 and it was beautiful, very quick service.

Came here tonight with partner, as soon as we walked in I fell in love with the stunning interior! It was quiet on Sunday night, but I could imagine the restaurant being packed on Friday/Saturday night.

Food was great. Tom Yum soup was a bit too sweet for me, but our mains (Choo Chee Prawns and Garlic and Pepper Chicken) were very nice! My partner decided to get coconut ice cream for dessert and the waitress came out with the ice cream, but told us that they didn't have enough ice cream and black sticky rice to make one good portion of dessert. So they gave the ice cream for free! How unbelievable! Other restaurants would've just told us to order something else.

Service was excellent, attentive without being pushy. I highly recommend this place! I'm so glad we came here and found this gem! I'll be a regular from now on.

Food is awesome, delicious with heaps of flavour and fresh ingredients, very friendly and welcoming.

I ordered Red curry chicken..$13.80, I was "floored" when the dish arrived. It was Tiny. There was barely enough food to fill a standard size Teacup. I immediately challenged the waiter, telling him that it was the smallest red curry dish I had ever seen, and I am qualified to comment, because I have ordered this dish in literally dozens of restaurants. I then quietly ordered another serving as I did not want to cause a scene and embarrass my friends. This place is a rip off.

Thai One is a stand out! Easily the best Thai restaurant to hit the southern suburbs in the last 20 years. Great service (ask for Tam), great food, great vibe (the joint had a real buzz to it), terrific value.
