Dined here on NYE. Looks very appealing from the street front with large French doors revealing tasteful decor and flowing to a large rear dining area. The experience started well, with the wait staff attending to our requests promptly. However, it quickly went downhill. Presented with an entree of half frozen curry puffs, we didn't say anything thinking it may be just an off day, this sort of thing is a health risk, though.
Then the main of massaman beef arrived, the only word to decribe this dish is disgusting, a slab of dried out, luke warm meat, not at all tender drizzled in some sort of curry sauce and two tiny potato chunks. We informed the waitress who seemed unfazed by our complaint, in the meantime a fried rice with seafood arrived (we ordered with vegetables and tofu.
By this time I felt very agitated with the whole experience. Finally, the massaman curry arrived, again cold and with a knife and fork to carve up the revolting chunk of cold, leathery beef. I tried the dish only to find it tasteless and fatty. Upon leaving, there was no apology whatsoever, only a query from a waitress with a look of surprise that we were leaving most of the dishes 3/4 full.
To top it all off, we were charged top dollar for what I have to say is arguably the worst thai food I have ever tasted. A disgrace.

This restaurant served the most disgusting food I have ever tasted, I had a prawn dish which when it was served smelt odd, stupidly I then tasted the prawns and they were off, the taste was sickening and the dish stank, when the kitchen staff came over to check he just schrugged his shoulders, I should have been wary when I asked for a glass of white wine, they had none left, I then asked for a Bottle of white and was told the same but was offered a red. The entree was ordinary, however, the plate was cracked and chipped.

I have eaten here many times both of lunch and dinner. The service is friendly, warm and the staffs remember my names. The tables are well spaced and the value is fantastic. Pad See Ew is really delicious. I would said this is the best Thai style Pad See Ew I have ever had in Sydney. I recommended to try this. Lunch special is cheap. It is now a lovely place to spend a lunch time with my colleague.

Although quiet for a Wednesday night, the food and presentation of this restuarant is nicely surprising.
Attention to customer comfort is well thought of with the use of outdoor heaters brought indoors to keep the room warm whilst leaving the bi-fold doors open to the street for view and ventilation. Long wooden benches with cushions allows guests to stay close together making it cosy.
The food was wonderfully presented and serving sizes perfect for sharing with friends. The taste of each dish distinctive and very authentic, for those chilli lovers try the Som Tum (green papaya salad) extra spicy. Upstairs layout was even better than downstairs with plenty of mood lighting and clean toilets. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience.

Very nice decoration of food, huge area for group booking, quite cheap lunch special menu, only flaw is the portion of food is bit small.

My wife and I ate here on Saturday night, our first day as Sydneysiders. The food was quite authentic, with very generous quantities of chilli, washed down with Singha beer. This is definitely a place we will return to, especially as we live very close by.

I went here for a birthday party banquet and I will not be going back. "Banquet" was a huge exaggeration. The entrees were fine but the mains, we had one chicken dish, one mixed veggies, one tofu, one seafood and one fish. Seriously, one dish that was meat and not seafood, which I don't eat! And we had to keep asking for bowls of rice, which they kept taking off us.
The service itself was atrocious, if it had been my party, I would have walked out, the waitresses were rude and could have cared less. For $40 a head and about 40 people, I would expect better service. I left hungry, after mostly eating rice for dinner. And as I said, will not be going back. The only redeeming feature was the nice room, but that was due more to good location than anything. Seriously disappointing. Don't go there.

My husband and I had preplanned a dinner in Darlinghurst. A last minute dinner decision we stumbled across this trendy Thai restaurant, the big chandelier upstair was what made us stop and look at the menu. The ambience and service was excellent, more importantly the taste was to die for.
Food presentation matched the taste 'beautiful' as for value, put it this way, high heel pain was forgotten, definitely coming back!

Dropped in while in the neighbourhood. The presentation of the food was gorgeous, thai flavours remained true, but serving sizes and value would benefit from generosity. The atmosphere is quite nice, especially out the back in the courtyard, noise isn't an issue and service was attentive. Ended up being stuck here on a night of torrential rain, to find the numerous roof fixtures (lights, speakers) leaking all over the customers and the top floor completely flooded! Completely unexpected but hopefully they'll sort those structural issues out before the next giant Sydney storm.
